Chapter 25

That girl huddled sobbing by her dad's coffin, her eyes puffy from crying all day and not sleeping at all. Next to her, Sebastian sat next to her wearing sunglasses to hide his sadness from everyone. It was almost 2 am, they remained faithfully beside their father's coffin.

The hall door opened, Catherine came with two coats in her hands which she would give to Suzzane and Sebastian. Although Suzzane never treated her well but she also couldn't bear to see her like that, she thought of Isabelle and maybe this is what Isabelle experienced when Emily died and she was alone.

"Miss Suzanne, put your coat on first. You'll get sick from the cold," Catherine tried to persuade Suzzane, but she didn't respond at all.
