Chapter 26

Sebastian sat by the pool with a freshly opened bottle of canned soda in his hand, he is still thinking about how to deal with his sister and trying to understand Suzzane's feelings without compromising his own. He loved Suzanne dearly, but it was hard for him to grant Suzzane's request. The can in his hand was suddenly snatched by someone and replaced with fruit juice, and a plate of warm pasta was placed in front of her.

"Drinking soda on an empty stomach isn't good," Catherine said as she threw the soda in the bin.

"Eating like this at this hour of the night isn't good either," Sebastian replied.

Catherine sighed softly, "At least you won't go to bed on an empty stomach, eat this pasta. I know you didn't eat the food I made."
