Chapter 6

Following Damian's invitation yesterday, Sebastian came to Damian's dojo to accept his challenge. Sebastian had actually been reluctant to be here because he had to go back to settle his business with Catherine, but he didn't want to be labeled weak by Damian so he had to waste a little time to visit this place.

In the courtyard of the Clair mansion, Damian welcomed Sebastian happily and all of Damian's men bowed respectfully to him. Sebastian arrived escorted by several of his men and of course also Luigi who was always loyal at his side, some of them carrying full weapons just in case they didn't get missed again like three years ago.

"Welcome Sebastian, my old friend." Damian greeted as he spread his arms.

Sebastian took off his glasses, looking around Damian's mansion which looked more like a military camp than a conglomerate's mansion.

"Do you want us to have tea before the match? I have a special tea for you," he put his arm around Sebastian's shoulders.

"No need, just get to the point because I'm very busy. Besides, I can't wait to see you lose, like always," Sebastian let go of Damian's hand and walked towards the dojo with Luigi.

Damian snorted in annoyance, Damian had spent years training hard to beat Sebastian and now it was time for Damian to silence his arrogance. Damian threw a Gi for Sebastian to wear, when the suit was replaced with judo clothes Sebastian's aura changed completely.

"I think we should make a bet, to make this match more exciting." Damian said as he put on his belt.

"Agreed."

"Shares in Cavill's company, 5% for me if I win."

"10% shares in Monroe's company, if I win." Sebastian's bid was bigger, he didn't want to bet for pennies.

"You take too much, your greedy nature never changes." Damian laughed sarcastically.

"My time and energy are precious, 10% is still too little."

"Alright, I'll beat you this time Sebastian."

They took their places, then bowed to each other before starting the match. As usual, when Damian faced Sebastian he was consumed by the desire to defeat without a strategy. The match had only just begun, but Sebastian had already managed to get one point ahead of Damian.

Damian did not want to accept his defeat, during the match Damian always tried to attack Sebastian's body area which is prohibited in judo. But again Damian lost due to a lack of strategy, he only focused on immobilizing Sebastian without reading Sebastian's movements. Because of Damian's foolish play, two of Sebastian's fingers were injured and his back was sore. One more attack technique, Sebastian slashed Damian's back leg and showed Damian his best osoto gari attack technique, in a matter of Sebastian managed to defeat him again and now Damian couldn't even stand up because he ran out of energy.

"As per our agreement, 10% of the shares in Monroe's company for me, Charlotte will come to your company to take over the shares." Sebastian said as he wiped the sweat from his face.

"I want a rematch," Damian pleaded.

"I don't have time to deal with you anymore, your cheating sucks anyway."

Sebastian left Damian in the judo area to change his clothes, Damian clenched his fists tightly as he lost to Sebastian yet again. He could have fought with focus and shown the results of his hard work over the past few years, but he had been rushed by lust and all he could think about was getting Sebastian down worse than he had been three years ago. Little did Damian know, for almost two years Sebastian had been living on the road as Andrew with its challenges and hardships. Sebastian was no longer learning techniques, but in direct combat with thugs who possessed various strengths and martial arts techniques.

After receiving a call from someone, Luigi returned to the dressing room to approach Sebastian who was changing. "Young master, Catherine and her family no longer live in that house."

Sebastian's movements halted, "What happened to them?"

“They were kicked out by the house owner because they couldn't pay the rent and Zack, he went somewhere."

"Order everyone to find Catherine's whereabouts, we're going back now." Sebastian ordered.

Sebastian just remembered that yesterday was the due date for payment of Catherine's house rent. They had just lost everything, obviously they wouldn't be able to pay the rent on the house anymore.

In the small house they rented from Catherine's savings, Catherine is now preparing to apply for a job at a cosmetics company that just opened two months ago. Her face, which looks pale because Catherine is starting to get morning sickness, she polishes with light makeup to make her look neat and beautiful.

Isabelle, who was previously the princess in the Foster family, now has to work hard to earn money. Isabelle was accepted at a coffeshop owned by her friend in college, although the salary is not large but it is enough to increase the income for the needs of the house.

As for Emily, she still has to struggle to get a loan from the bank to reopen the florist. Because Emily has no collateral, it is quite difficult for her to get a loan and even her friends disappear suddenly when she is in a difficult condition.

Just like yesterday, Emily could now only serve bread spread with cream cheese for them without any accompaniment, not even milk because Emily didn't have the money to buy it. Isabelle didn't make any comments and ate the bread in silence, while Catherine who had no appetite for eat, only drank water and a few pickled olives to relieve her nausea.

Catherine took a small envelope from her bag and handed it to Emily. "Take this money mom, it's not much but I think it's enough to open a small florist. I think it's a good idea if we start our business from scratch,"

"No Cathy, let me try to start our business again with my own efforts. After all, you need this money for your living expenses with your baby later," Emily refused, handing the money back to Catherine.

Catherine continued to force Emily to accept the money but Emily still refused, Catherine was forced to take the money back and leave feeling sad because Emily refused her help.

Throughout the trip, Catherine just stared pensively at the streets that looked jammed and busy until she almost passed her destination stop. Catherine staggered until she accidentally bumped into a man passing in front of her, she fell into a sitting position due to unbearable dizziness. The man helped Catherine up so she could sit in a more comfortable seat, he also gave her a bottle of water to drink before leaving. Catherine was about to thank him, but he had already disappeared from her sight.

"She lives in the Hustley area with her mom and sister, it looks like she will be applying for a job at the Rosewood family's cosmetics company this morning." he said while watching Catherine from a distance.
