Chapter 159

Cory should be smitten into smithereens by a rolling rock of surprise, but he wasn't. He was definitely moved by what he had just heard, but something deep inside of him would not avail him the luxury of being surprised.

He kept a long stare at Lord Theo. The monks had expected him to gasp or make a reaction inspired by shock, but neither of them came.

The monks were quite intrigued by his composure. Some of them believed that he was scared out of his wits but was feigning composure. A lot of ideas were flying around as stares sat in his face.

"You didn't seem surprised." Lord Theo admitted to his face.

Cory scoffed. He had no idea why he scoffed. It was high time he stopped pretending as though he didn't know what was going on! He knew what was happening! His recent reactions must have been inspired by the supreme god.
