Cory wanted to act at once but decided not to. Although this strange person was holding him in a chokehold from behind, he wasn't fazed. Even if the person choked him, denying him breathing, he could still separate his consciousness from his body with the qi energy. The ladies froze in shock. They were so white from shock that they didn't know when Cory walked past and was out of their sight.
