Chapter 224

Cory was rather speechless as he stared at this. He wished that he had something to say or to do at this moment, but his head was blank. He shut his eyes as he tried to suppress the wave of emotions that kept rising with the tide of rage. He couldn't do much about this.

He didn't want to hold on to the foul emotion because it would not do him any good.

"How long has this been here?" He asked the cannibal who was standing directly in front of him.

"We have lost the track of time. We are not good with keeping the date and time like we used to do in the past. But according to the order of the sun, about a couple of thousands of sun order from now."

Cory wasn't sure whether or not he understood what the cannibal was saying he could use his instinct to read in between the lines.

"Pack it up." He decided.

The cannibals did as told as Cory led the way. They kept on following him until he got to a particular turn in the woods.
