Chapter 26

Cory looked down at himself and realised why Elaine had been swept off her feet. All though he was now buff and well chiseled, he wasn't used to it yet. If he was, he probably wouldn't have removed his clothes right there, and then.

"You don't know what you are talking about." Cory brushed off what she had said.

Why would anyone in their right mind offer to serve another person for the rest of their lives?

"Please don't take me for a fool." Elaine walked closer to Cory, looking really concerned.

"I mean it. Don't take my words for a joke." She kept walking until she was close enough to him.

She reached out to one of her hands to touch his carved chest. She could see his flesh heaving to the beat of his heart. She wanted to touch his chest with the tip of her finger.

Cory grabbed her hand, stopping her finger from touching him. She looked up at him.

"Is this real?" She asked, looking genuinely confused and interested.

At this point, Cory really couldn't pretend not to be interes
