"No, I don't want to hear it!" She said.
Mike looked at her. He was trying to figure out what she was thinking but all that he could see was her innocent face smiling at him. What did shs mean? She just heard what Rachel said, is she saying that she is not curious at all? That she doesn't want to know at all?
"What do you mean? Are you not curious?" Mike asked.
Bella shook her head. It's not that she wasn't curious. She really wanted to know what the both of them were talking about. Does he really love her as he said? But just looking at him like this, she could already see that he was in a lot of pain. Because of her own selfishness, she did not want to make things hard for him.
"I really don't want to know. It has nothing to do with me anyway. It's your own personal business. Besides, I really don't like getting involved in other people's lives" Bella said.
Mike looked at her. For a second, the both of them were quiet. Then he started to laugh.
Bella looked at him she was a bit upset. She usually wasn't this considerate. But she was considerate enough not to ask about it and now he is laughing at her? "What's so funny? Did I say something funny? Why are you laughing?" She asked.
Looking at the annoyance on her face, Mike could not help himself. He continued to laugh. "No, you did not say something funny. It's just that. . . this is the first time someone has been this considerate to me" Mike said. He still had a smile on his face. But this time, it wasn't the distant and warm smile that was always on his face. This time, it seemed like he was really smiling.
Bella looked at him she just could not figure out what he was thinking. The first time someone has been this considerate to him? Then is that something that he should be laughing about? Everyone in this school is just weird!
"You are laughing because I was considerate to you? What is the meaning of that? Everyone in this school is just weird" Bella said.
Mike stopped laughing. He looked at her. Her initial annoyance was still there. For someone like him, who was used to being pushed around and being used all the time, having someone show this much consideration to him and his feelings, he still did not know what to feel. Is he supposed to be happy? But of course he could not tell her this.
He thought about what she had said. Everyone in this school is weird? What does she mean by that?

Bella rolled her eyes. Of course everyone was weird and annoying! The only relief that she had was that at least she had met Lily and Cynthia who were really nice to her. Besides that, . . . why does her mother even want her to come to this school so badly? There was that boy. . . . how can he ask her to take responsibility for him? And saw him naked? What really is that? She was not over that yet and then she ran into Mike, who laughing because she was considerate to him, if that is not weird then what it is? Not to mention what Lily had told her about this school, Bella wasn't so sure if she wanted to remain here or not.
"Everything is weird! Viants High is strange. What? A school that's built for only rich people? Does that even make sense? A school should be a place where students gather to learn stuff! A school should be preparing students for the real world, just what is the meaning of this?" Bella asked. She had really wanted to vent ever since she heard it but she did not have anyone to vent to. She was quite relived that she could talk about these things now.
Mike looked at the girl in front of him . Does she already know how this school work? He really wanted to tell her to get out of Viants High. Someone like her. . she really should not be in this place. Other people might see this place as a school, but for him, it's always been hell. It has always been a prison for him. No matter how much he wanted to run away, no matter how much he wanted to leave, he always could not leave. How can someone like her be in here?

Bella, thinking that he was in support of her continued to talk. She had totally forgotten about the laughing incident. "It's really strange. Maybe it's because it has become an habit for him. He really could not seem to stop smiling. But deep down, he knew that she was right. This is complete crap! How can there be such a system in a school? If MK group wants to run a school it should run a proper school! Why do they have to build a prison and call it a school?
"You are right! It's complete crap! Just who the hell started this stupid system anyway? It's complete nonsense! He had wanted to vent for a long time. Mike smiled. This time, he really wanted to smile. Can they do something about it? The answer was no. But she was so enthusiastic. He did not want to put and end to that determined look on her face. "Should we do that?" He asked.
"Of course we should! We really should not be putting up with this. Such a crap school! How can they discriminate students like this? It's such total nonsense! Complete crap!" Bella said.
"If you both think it's nonsense then the both of you should get lost! Why the hell are you here?!" Mike and Bella heard a voice behind them say. The both of them turned to find Nelson staring at them.
Immediately Bella walked away from the table, Nelson leaned back into his chair and continued to eat. Lily wanted to go after her but she could not take her gaze away from him. What the hell does he think that he is doing? She looked at him waiting to see if she would get any reaction from him but she did not get any. He acted as if he did not see her and Cynthia at all.
Lily placed her hand on the table and whispered. "What do you think that you are doing right now? How do you know Bella? What really happened?" Lily asked. She did not want the other students to hear them talking.
Nelson did not look up. He continued to eat like he did not hear her. But he had heard every single thing that she said. He could even note the urgency in her tone. She finally sat down together with him and the first thing that she asks is what happened with that girl? Does she not even care about him in the slightest bit? Does she not care him anymore?
Nelson sneered. He had to resort to such tricks to sit down and have a meal with her. But at least right now he is eating with her. It's definitely worth it right?
Lily was getting frustrated that Nelson was just ignoring her. "Did you not hear me? What do you think that you are doing right now? Do you want to get Bella in trouble?" Lily asked. She was about to lose her temper when Cynthia placed her hand on top of hers, telling her to calm down.
"What do you mean? I just said what happened? She did see me naked! Gosh I feel violated right now!" Nelson said. He did not try to whisper. In fact, he was very loud. So loud that everyone could hear him. Since he can get her attention this way then he should go all out right?
"You. . . " Lily was going to say something when someone walked to their table. It was Lander. At first, the two girls did not know who he was so they gave him a weird glance. Nelson already saw him but he did not plan on looking up from his meal. Lander grabbed a chair and sat down next to Nelson.
"Wow, I see my younger brother is quite popular in school. He even has girls seeing him naked!" Lander said. He emphasized the younger brother so everyone knew who he was.
Everyone knew about Nelson. His family did not try to hide it. He was the illegitimate second son of Stardust group. their company wasn't as big as MK group but they were definitely doing well. Everyone turned their attention to Lander at once. Is he the legitimate older brother that everyone has been talking about? Didn't they say that he was studying abroad? When did he come back? One look at Lander and you could tell that he was not done. So what if Nelson is the illegitimate son? It wasn't as if he asked to be born! Nelson did not do anything wrong!
Lily did not want Nelson to stay here and continue to listen to these people. She grabbed his hand and pulled him up. "Let's leave" she said.
Nelson stood up and looked at Lily. Did she really just hold his hand? Suddenly, all the bad remarks that they were making about him did not matter at all. Lily just held his hand! That was what mattered to him!
