Chapter 25

A student said, "Hey isn't that Lily? I heard that her father lost his company to his younger brother!"

Another student chipped in, "A fallen princess and an illegitimate son, aren't they the perfect match?"

Nelson turned to look at Lily. He knew that she was hurt by the words that those people said. No matter what, no one liked to have their private matters talked about in public like this like it was nothing. It really must be a lot for her. After all, not everyone is able to live without caring like him. But still, she did not let go of him. She was still holding on to his hand.

"Let's go I said" Lily said. She decided that she had had enough. She did not want to continue to listen to this.

Cynthia got up and looked at Lily. Lily was her friend. She did not want her to get herself in trouble. Wasn't she the one telling Bella yesterday to just ignore everyone and not get in trouble yesterday? How is that she is doing the same thing for Nelson? Besides, didn't she already saw that it was finished with him? Is she really okay letting these people talk like this?

"Lily what are you doing? Can you hear what they are saying? Are you okay with people talking like this about you?" Cynthia asked her.

The truth was that Lily did not know what she was doing too. She just knew that when she saw Lander trying to pick on Nelson like this, and could not hold in her anger anymore. It wasn't his fault that he is an illegitimate son. If anything, his father should be blamed for having an affair when he is already married! Why do they all have to pick on Nelson instead? And Nelson, why is he just sitting there listening to all of this nonsense? What is wrong with him? Doesn't he know how to walk away? Lily did not know why she was doing this, all she knew was that she was angry.

Lander had a smile on his face. Nelson, he just keeps making it easy for him to go after him. It really was a good idea to come to Viants High after all. And just who is this girl? Is she the reason Nelson didn't want him to come to this school? If he messes with her, it's really going to get Nelson right?

Lander wasn't completely stupid. He already heard that student said. So apparently her father lost his company to his younger brother? He knew what Viants High was all about. If she is here, it's because she must be looking for connections that she could use to get her company back, if that is the reason she is here, then Nelson definitely is not a good choice for her. He won't be able to help her.

Lander got up and stood close to Lily and Nelson. Then he started whispering to them. It was so low that only the both of them could hear what he was saying. "Your name is Lily? Your father already lost his company, do you think that hanging around someone like Nelson will be beneficial to you? He won't be able to help you" Lander said. There was a smirk on his face.

Lily turned to glare at him. She had met him for the first time today, but whenever she remembered that this person in front of her was the one who had done those things to Nelson, she could not help but feel a surge of anger within her.

"I don't think that my family issues have anything to do with you. We don't even know each other" Lily said. She did not try to whisper back to him. She wanted everyone to hear.

Lander really felt a urge to slap this girl! Who the hell does she think she is? How dare she look down on him?

This time, Nelson was the one who held Lily's hand. He could already see that Lander was angry. Girls were not off limits for Lander. What if he really hits her? "Let's go" he said. He pulled Lily out of the cafeteria. Everyone whatched as they walked out.

But now, everyone was not talking about how Nelson is the illegitimate son. They were talking about how the first son of Stardust son was ignored and looked down by Lily! Lander really felt like smashing a chair into her face!

Mike and Bella turned and saw Nelson glaring at them. "The both of you think that this school is crap right? Why don't you get out?!" He asked.

Nelson was walking past when he saw Mike and Bella in the classroom. Mike was laughing. Three years ago, was the last time that he saw Mike laugh like this. Even before everything was finally destNeled by that Rachel, Mike had slowly started to lose himself. He would not even laugh. He always had a smile on his face, but Nelson knew more than anyone else what was behind that smile.

Seeing him laugh like this in front of this girl, he was curious. Just what did she say to him? He stopped to listen to the conversation, and then he heard what they were talking about.

He still remembered this girl well. She really is something. Why is she even here?

Mike and Bella did not say anything to Nelson. They just stood looking at him. Bella was puzzled. Just how much did he hear? It was difficult to figure out Mike was thinking. Was it hate? Or regret?

"Hey you, who the hell are you? Why do you think that you can talk about Viants High like this? If you don't like it then transfer out!" Nelson said. He too hated this school, he hated it more then anything. In the end, he was just doing this to Mike. He really wanted to know what this person was thinking in his head!

Bella glared at him. She really did not like Nelson. And he just keeps giving her more reasons to not like him. "First of all, my name is Bella not hey! Second, I can say whatever I want! You have no right to tell me to come or go!" She yelled. Bella really hated people like this. People who think that they can control otters.

Nelson was taken aback. In his life, no one has ever been this rude to him. Especially in Viants High! How come there is a student in Viants High who can talk to him like this? "Hey, do you know who I am?! How dare you talk to me like this?!" Nelson yelled back.

"Who the hell are you? Your father owns MK group and this school and then so what?! You can't tell me to come or go either way!" Bella said.

Nelson felt like coughing up blood. Where on Earth does she get her confidence from? "So you know. Do you think that I am someone that you can offend? I don't care who you think you are but as long as I want, your company won't even open for business tomorrow!" Nelson said.

Since everyone in Viants High all came from rich families who at least had a few companies to their name, he thought that Bella was like that.

Bella could not help but laugh. This school really is trash! Good thing she doesn't have anything to lose. She doesn't need to put up with this person! "What? I can see that this school is complete trash! How can the great MK group run a school that's complete trash like this? I never thought that Viants High would be a place where students threaten other students!" Bella said.

Nelson was at a loss for words. This was the first time that he did not know what to say to someone. Even his threat didn't work. Who the hell is she?! "How MK group runs their school is none of your business! It's good that you know that I own this school. I can get you expelled as long as I want!" Nelson said. He knew that what he said was petty but he did not have a choice. She really is annoying!

"What? You are going to get me expelled? If you are going to threaten me you should at least use something that will work. If you are living off your parents money you should shut up and enjoy it! Why do you have make things difficult for other people?" Bella asked.

She has had enough. She walked out of the classroom. She was going to find Lily and Cynthia. She really needed to calm down.

Nelson whatched as she walked out. She really is something. He is living off his parents money? What a joke!

He turned to Mike who had not said anything since he walked in. He had a smile on his face. Like he was enjoying what just happened.

"Hey, who the hell is that girl?! And why didn't you say anything?!" Nelson asked. He was so angry right now that he could not control himself.

"I'm not sure. I don't really know her well. But I think she's quite interesting don't you think?" Mike asked. Someone who can insult Nelson like this, she really is interesting.

"Interesting? What is interesting about her? I'm going to make sure that I get back at her for this!" Nelson said.

Mike shrugged, "suit yourself then" he said.

"Hey, don't you have anything to say?" Nelson asked Mike.

"What should I say? I just think that a girl who can speak to you like this, she's really interesting" Mike said. It wasn't everyday that he had this much fun. He was able to relive his pent up frustration thanks to her, and he even whatched as Nelson got told off. It really was interesting. Mike stood up and started to walk out.

"Hey, when are you going to transfer out of this school? You should know, you and I, can't stay here. It's not possible" Nelson said to Mike.

Mike stopped walking. Without turning, he said, "Why should I transfer out? The person who is uncomfortable should leave. I really don't mind having you here" then he continued to walk out.

Nelson sighed. How on Earth is he going to stay in this school if he has to face both Mike and Rachel?

Nelson only stopped pulling Lily when they were away from the cafeteria. He stopped and stood in front of her, looking at her. Even though he was trying not to care, the fact that his older brother was treating him like an enemy made him really sad. But seeing Lily stand up for him like that, he felt that none of those things mattered anymore. He even ate a meal with her and she held his hand.

"Hey, are you okay? Is that person really your older brother? He's even much more worse than you said!" Lily said. He is even much more worse than Nelson had described.

Nelson smiled. He was really very happy right now. "Are you worrying about me right now? Is that it? Are you worried about me?" Nelson asked. He was very excited. Whatever Lander does to him does not matter anymore. She is worried about him! It means that she did not completely forget right?

Lily looked away. Now that they were away from everyone, she started to feel that maybe she had over reacted. She has always kept a low profile. What did she just do? Everyone must be talking about her right now!

Lily decided to change the topic. "You. . . ! What did you think that you were doing? What really happened between you and Bella? Did you have to talk about it in front of everyone? You know that she's new, what if she gets in trouble?" Lily asked. She wasn't faking it she was really worried about Bella.

"Do you really not know why I did that?" Nelson asked her.

"No" Lily blinked. She was confused.

"It's because I wanted to eat with you" he said.
