Alex walked to the forest near the lake, carefully choosing a secluded spot.

The cool breeze rustled the leaves, as he began to build an A-frame shelter.

He found two sturdy sticks, placing them in the ground at an angle to form an "A" shape.

With steady hands, he laid a longer stick across the top, then meticulously draped branches and leaves over it for cover.

As nightfall descended, the forest grew darker, and the sounds of distant owls and crickets filled the air.

Alex worked tirelessly, his breath visible in the cold night air.

He struck a match and lit a small fire in front of his makeshift camp, the flames casting flickering shadows on the trees around him.

After about an hour of working in the darkness, his simple tent was finally finished, just enough to offer shelter.
