"I am Sophia Deneuve's husband," Alex declared.

Both guards looked surprised. To avoid any trouble, a guard called over a bunch of family chauffeurs, wishing one of them would recognize him.

"Hey, any of you know this person?"

Several drivers strolled up to get a closer look.

"Hey, it's Alex, isn't it? Remember me? We've crossed paths a few times on the project site," mentioned the driver for Sophia's parents.

"Exactly," Alex responded. "You're Eddie, right?"

"Do you know him?" the security guard inquired of Eddie.

"Yeah, he's a construction worker," Eddie replied.

"Oh, I heard there's a problem with the event area's toilet drainage," the guard remarked. "Were you the one summoned to address it? I was told no one has tended to it, and it's after hours already."

"No," Alex asserted firmly. "I'm here as Sophia's husband."
