Chapter 29

Miles stood at the side of the road, waiting to haul down a cab. The incident from earlier flashed through his mind, and he scoffed. What if he had fallen for that? He would've fucked her right there in her office? Damn! That was one crazy shit ever.

Miles was still trying to get a cab when a familiar black car pulled over in front of him, and he sighed frustratingly as he already recognized who the owner of the car was. It was James again.

James stepped out of the car and walked over to him with a pretentious smile on his lips.

"You shouldn't be standing under the sun. It's going to be difficult to get a cab here. Why don't you hop in so I can drop you off wherever you are going," James uttered politely.

"And I'm not going to change my mind. I won't help you plead with Mr. Mario, so stop showing your face to me. I'm going to call the cops on you if you keep being stubborn," Miles stated bluntly and walked away from him.
