The audience regarded Gilbert with scepticism as he sat calmly in his wheelchair.

“Okay,” Gilbert responded, his expression blank.

Observing Gilbert’s demeanor, Mr. Karl coughed and withdrew his hands.

“Miss Cadenn, my job is simply to sign agreements. Mr. Kane will determine the company’s direction,” Mr. Karl explained with a polite smile.

“Yes, Azalea. Mr. Kane must have recognized the Cadenn family’s potential and wanted to collaborate with us,” he added.

“Just sign it,” Mr. Karl urged Azalea, gesturing towards the contract.

Azalea hesitated, feeling the pressure from everyone in the room, including old Mrs. Perkins.

“Mr. Karl, Azalea is in a lower position within the company.” She may not have the authority to make such a significant decision,” someone remarked.

As Azalea prepared to sign, Gilbert interrupted slowly, causing tension among the Cadenn family members.
