“No, no, no. Sir, I assure you that none of that would happen. The murder suspects are undoubtedly Christian Luiz’s bodyguards.”

“Very well, if you say so,” Gilbert nodded and stopped teasing Travis.

Travis sighed in relief.

“Someone come and take Mr. Huxley home in my car,” Travis turned around and ordered his subordinates.

The department escorted Gilbert home in a car, treating him as though he had come for a day trip.

Everyone in the room had mixed feelings after Gilbert left, especially the young man who briefly met him the night before.

“Wow! That was so damn cool!” The young man exclaimed. He thought he could sense that Gilbert differed from others, but he didn’t expect him to be so extraordinary.
