121: Confrontation (I)

"You're not in the right position to do this," Sinclair persisted.

"Let me, I won't take long," Liam said.

They had gone to the police station later that evening.

Sinclair finally moved out of the way so Liam could step right ahead of him.

Liam clenched his jaw to refrain from wincing in pain as he took one footstep after the other. He was trying as much as he could to walk straightly since the pain was getting the best of him already.

He finally stopped in front of the cell.

A seventy-two years old man with graying hair was seen sitting on the cold cemented floor, with his head tipped up to the ceiling as if he was lost in his thoughts. He was still wearing his suit from yesterday, something which was completely wrinkled.

Liam could've pitied him, except this man was after his life.

"Uncle," Liam's voice stirred up a shudder in Benjamin Price. He wasn't expecting to hear that voice, talk more or see that person whom he had thought was at the hospital.
