58 Don't Want to Get Hurt

“You again, you again!” Shirley sneered while glancing at Marcel, who was sitting next to her. "Where, he said he wanted to take care of our divorce? I just don't have any money."

One of Marcel's hands clenched into a fist, but he couldn't be provoked by the insults that Shirley threw at him.

"Here, take the car." Shirley slammed her car keys on the dashboard, then got ready to get out. "You drive, I'll just sleep in the back. I hate seeing your face ..."

"Many words, I'm not your driver!" Marcel replied from the corner of his lips.

"What?" Shirley turned her head while looking towards her husband. "Your voice isn't pleasant to hear, isn't it, Marcel? Have you forgotten what your father said to my family earlier?"

Marcel exhaled a long breath.

"You forgot?" Shirley repeated in a shrill voice. "Your father said that you would be a husband who could protect, support and respect me."

Marcel turned his head away and didn't answer. Shirley then got off and moved to the back seat.
