Edward Miller took Charles to another room that was private for only both of them.

Inside the room was a luxurious table and sets of chairs. The ceilings were made of rocks.

There was no trace of light from the windows. The only light William could identify outside the enclosed room was artificial.

“I’m sure you can tell already.” Charles said. “It’s underground.”

He was right. His guess was underground and Charles statement has just confirmed it.

“Can I ask you why you chose to come to me instead of all the other four families?” Edward asked. “Going to any of the other three families for information would’ve been way more easier and it won’t have eaten much of the time those above the table gave you?”

“It was risky but you are the best person I can ask for information out of all of them.” William answered.
