CHAPTER 14

Blair just looks at the glass of water for a few seconds. She then shifts her gaze to Quinn's eyes, stares at him, and lets Quinn's right hand go numb. There is an awkward and deafening silence in the room.

All of a sudden, Quinn chuckles away and says, "Take this. You have to relax. I think you're prettier when you smile."

Those words do not even disturb Blair. Her eyebrows are still crossed. She does not even show a ghost of a smile. She is very annoyed. Quinn is cute. His long hair fits him. But he looks flirty, and Blair is a Valencia. Nobody approaches or flirts with a Valencia. No one should. The tension subsides when Blair accepts the glass of water.

When everyone thinks that everything is fine, Blair proves us wrong. She raises the glass of water and very slowly pours it over Quinn's head. Surprised, the girls gasped. Quinn's smile appears instantly, and he seems to be enjoying what Blair is doing.
