"But he's smart enough to play with your emotions," Blair cut her quickly.

"Look, I am not trying to be a villain here, but we have people to protect. I will set them off tonight before they make a move against us," Blair adds.

"But you cannot go out there and put yourself at risk of opening the dimension where a lot of city guards can kill you at any moment," Venice fires back.

"So, what now? Are you suggesting we kill Jax and those other mortals? Can you, Venice? Which death do you want them to take? To be killed by our own hands? Or to be killed by the Prime Lady and we watch them helplessly because we can do nothing just to protect our positions?" Blair asks. It is upsetting for sure, but Blair seems to be more worked up than any one of us.

Thania moves, distracting us. We look at her and wait for her to speak.

"Hold the enemy captive," Thania says in a ruthless voice. This time, it is Venice who looks tense.
