Venice's Standpoint

I silently walk through the building with a troubled feeling clawing at my stomach. Each step forward feels longer, prolonging my agony. Even the sounds of my steps are tormenting me in every way possible. The weight of the scarf that settles on my shoulders becomes an oppressive cloak, seeming to drag me down and making my legs heavy and unsteady. Is this the end of me being a Valencia? This is the question I ask myself. My breath becomes shallow of the thought, coordinated by the pace of my racing thoughts. Nonetheless, I continue to step forward, prepared for the possible punishments I have to go through.

I stop in front of Valencias' common room. Hesitant, I reach out for the doorknob with my hand trembling slightly. The cool, metallic touch sent a chill up my spine, warning me of the punishment that lay behind the door. With a deep breath, I turn the doorknob and slowly push the door open. A creak echoes across the space.
