CHAPTER 27

The beds on my side are empty and neatly organized. I take a glance at the clock above the door and, as I realize I am way later than usual, I rush to do my morning routine, eat my breakfast, and proceed to the administration building.

Rumors of me being punched by Thania spread around the whole school like wildfire. As I make my way to the elevator, the hushed whispers and glances of staff and students welcome me. Even so, I try to maintain an air of nonchalance and continue to step all the way. Shortly, I stepped in on the second floor. I proceed to Thania's office and knock thrice to make my presence known. I turn the knob and slowly push the door open. There I found Thania sitting in her chair, with sheets of papers cluttered in her table. While fully engrossed in her tasks, she manages to glance at me and at the chair in front of her, acknowledging my presence. I step forward and sit in one of the chairs across from the table.
