CHAPTER 90: The scent of wisteria

A group of more than thirty people stood hesitantly in the squalid veterinary hospital. The children were busy looking at the little dogs with eyes full of warmth and care. The kind of look that Ronald had just seen and identified trouble would surely come as quickly as a flood. Ronald seems to not believe in the decision of Kent and Rika right now. He couldn't understand when the two had just escaped death from the arms of the Kristok people, but the danger was still lurking. Why should they try to follow a vain dream that the two would be able to create conditions for each other? The kids raise these dogs. It was the most absurd thing he could imagine.

Ronald tried to remind both young people by asking again before the group moved the dogs out of the truck: “Are we going to move them all?”

Kent just replied calmly. He signaled to the One-Eyed Puppy to start taking the dogs out. Their cheerful faces made Kent feel comfortable and incredibly proud of himself. H
