Ahh, memories... The air seemed to grow colder the closer we got to the armory somehow despite the relatively comfortable temperature from earlier.. Still, maybe that's my shitty body trying to adapt to the sudden increase in exertion that I was putting it up with. In a weird way, I'm feeling my true age as I struggled to not shiver at the chills running across my spine. Kind of like how I used to curl up into my sheets whenever December rolled around despite my own body being capable of shrugging off the cold better than most girls. Heh... Damn... now I'm starting to miss that strange nostalgic air that Christmas lights scattered across the city gave off. In a sense, I really was still a fucking city girl despite having lived practically longer here than back in the old world.
