"I-Is it really you, Sis?"

My throat threatened to seize up on me as the unholy tide of emotions inside crashed all over me like an unstoppable tidal wave. The sheer amount of relief, disbelief, happiness, and longing all coalesced into a torrent of tears giving my eyes untold amounts of pressure as I tried my best to keep them at bay long enough to at least get a sentence out.

"L-Livia..." I choked out, my hands trembling as I barely restrained myself from jumping the grown woman. "H-How..."

"I-I was looking for you..." my sister tearily confessed, her shoulders shaking with the same intensity as mine. "I couldn't... I... I tried my best, Sis..."

The emotional tension was thick enough to cut with a buttering knife as we simply stared at each other in stark relief, both of us still processing the miracle that was taking
