The Shedding system forced Jake to have a whole new perspective over the world and over everything and everyone around him.

Firstly, he believed that his parents Brett and Felicia did not care about him as much as they cared about themselves. It was the bitter cold hard truth, which was extremely difficult for him to swallow.

His sister Prisha argued for a living. She would always argue with him over everything. She would try to use everybody around her for her own gains. That’s how she tried to prove her superiority, though she wasn’t cunning or evil.

His brother Davis lived more in fantasies than in reality. Looking for riches, for Juliet, and for everything he believed was perfect. He was more of a crackhead that was too strange to be called just eccentric. The only thing that was simple about him was his thirst for fun. Jake’s recent struggle provided him fun.

This was Jake’s family.

They were all hardworking, but they clearly did not make Jake happy, much less proud anymore, not after they sided with Delma so that they can escape the lower class life.

But would all these feelings flowing through Jake’s heart be enough to call them useless?

The shedding system’s condition for him was to discard all the useless things from his life.

So, should he discard his family because they were not being useful and helpful to him?

This was a pretty hard decision to make.

But right now, he just didn’t care.

He was in a hurry to get the hell out of the Ordinance Park.

He couldn’t just run out as there were guards stationed everywhere.

He locked himself in a guest room and waited until midnight to make his move.

While Elmond was asking his granddaughter to give him permission to beat Jake and set his attitude straight for not opening the room door and talking to him, Delma kept refusing.

“I love him, Grandpa,” she said. “How can I get him beaten?”

“But he’s not listening to us. If we don’t discipline him, I’m afraid he won’t change,” Elmond said. “Don’t you want him to remove your excess weight?”

“I do, but I want him to do it by himself without any of us forcing him,” Delma replied.

“Tch, you’re too soft on him,” Elmond began to walk away but then stopped. “I know what you want is a husband and not a slave, but… if he doesn’t recognize your efforts and your love, then how will you be able to live with him in peace?”

“Let’s give him some time,” Delma said.

“Just what happened on that date for you to like him this much?” Elmond asked, frowning. “It’s not like he loves you even though you’re fat. He hates you because you look fat. So why? Why do you still love him so much?”

“I have my reasons,” Delma replied.

Elmond could only shake his head and leave the room. “At least use your superpower system to slim down, Delma. Then you don’t have to stress yourself with dieting.”

“I will think about it,” Delma responded with a smile.

Delma then remembered the moment she saw Jake for the first time in the restaurant. He helped a waiter pick up the broken pieces of the bowl from the floor and then scolded the customer for being rude with the waiter and slapping the bowl because the waiter took five minutes to bring out the order.

Delma loved the way Jake confronted the customers for the sake of a waiter he didn’t know.

She liked the masculinity he showed her before he even met her.

She didn’t know that Jake was her date at the time.

But then Jake ended up coming toward her table, making her heart race probably for the first time in her life from seeing a man.

The fact that Jake was an incredibly handsome guy didn’t help her heart calm down, either.

Jake, on the other hand, realized that the blind date was an utter failure because the woman turned out to be a 250-pound machine.

Her smile wasn’t bad, but he could already imagine his dick breaking if she were to move around while they had sex!

It sent goosebumps all over his body, but he still was committed to the task at hand.

He wanted to finish the date he started because she was waiting for him at the table. So, he showered a smile and shook her hand.

He talked with her nicely, and he tried to be open about it.

“I like your personality,” Jake said after they finished eating. “Don’t get me wrong, but… I think you’re too big for my taste. No offense, but… are you able to touch your toes?”

Delma smiled in response. “I know I’m big, but… I can slim down in a few months if you want.”

“I don’t want you to slim down for my sake. You should do it for your sake. Anyway, it was nice meeting you,” he offered her a handshake from across the table.

“Are you going to reject me?” Delma asked, pursing her lips together.

“This may hurt you, but I don’t find you attractive,” Jake said while looking at her. “I’m sorry for wasting your time.” Saying that, he got up and walked away.

Delma’s mouth turned down very much.

Jake thought things would end there between them, but Delma found out his address and sent him gifts, which he didn’t appreciate. However, his family members loved these costly items which included bikes, cars, sofas, beds, refrigerators, gift cards and more.

Everything escalated pretty fast, and Jake’s family absolutely loved Delma for her magnanimity. They told Jake that he was absolutely lucky that Delma liked him. They tried to manipulate him and make him marry her.

However, Jake had other plans. He ran away as his family members were planning on the perfect wedding date.

At present, Delma was standing in front of the new mirror in her bedroom. She didn’t look attractive to her own eyes. “I hate how I look. I should slim down for my sake as well, just as he said.”

At the same time, Delma didn’t know that Jake was running away from Ordinance Park in the middle of the night.

In the garden, a few dogs blocked Jake’s path and growled at him.

With a racing heart, he blew air from his mouth. All the hair on the dogs was blown away.

The dogs were terrified by their own appearances and began to fight each other, blaming the other dogs for what happened.

“Haha, stupid dogs,” Jake laughed. “You’re no match for me!”

He then used this chance to run away. He avoided the guards. All the cameras that were capturing him began to stop working.

Elmond received a call just as he was about to sleep. “What is it?”

The head of the surveillance team quickly said, “Sir, something is wrong. Many cameras are failing one after another.”

“WHAT?” Elmond was startled. “Ring the alarm, and deploy our men everywhere. Whoever dared to attack this place needs to die!”

It didn’t take long for Elmond to realize who the culprit was. There were some cameras that were dismantled, which was something the shedding system was capable of doing. But what sealed the deal was the three dogs which lost all their hair.On top of that, Jake was missing. This led Elmond to come to the conclusion that Jake wasn’t kidnapped, but Jake was the one who actually ran away last night.“If you had let me chip him when we caught him,” Elmond was coldly talking with Delma, “then we would have known where he is right now.”“He’s not a dog, Grandpa.”“But he left you, didn’t he?”Delma visibly frowned. “I’m sorry. I didn’t think he’d run away again. He must really hate me,” she looked depressed and hurt.Elmond’s heart ached. “He has the shedding system now. It won’t be easy to capture him, but don’t worry. I promise you, I will catch that little shit and bring him to you.”He put his hand on her head and gently rubbed it.“You just focus on slimming down, my little princess,”

You are doing a better job than I thought. Keep going.”For the next five minutes or so, Anne pressed his legs.“You can stop now,” Jake said coldly. She was happy to stop. Then we will build attraction toward each other more naturally.”“Ah,” Jake nodded. “I like the idea.”Anne then picked his shirt off the floor and tossed it back to him.Jake put the shirt back on. “Shall we go out on a date now? Can I see him?”“You will see him when the time is right,” Delma replied, keeping eye-contact with him without blinking.Melvyn forced out a smile. He looked at the treadmill. “I told you plenty of times to fast and slim down, but you never listened. Now, you’re trying to get thin. What changed? Is the new guy making you do this?”“You’re handsome, Melvyn. You’re a one in a million. There’s no doubt about that,” Delma openly said as she always had. “But you’re my cousin. We grew up together. I just… don’t have any romantic feelings toward you.”“But I have feelings for you,” he stated, with his hands in his pockets.Delma rolled her eyes. “Why don’t you tell a mor

At first he was shocked, but then he thought, “Wait, isn’t losing pubic hair a good thing?”[Do chickens look beautiful when they have feathers or when they don’t?]The system asked him a simple question.Jake slowly but surely frowned. “I see. A feathered chicken and a hairy man are one and the same.”A few seconds passed.“But how the heck am I supposed to earn the money in five minutes? Do you want me to beg on the street or what?” Jake yelled at the system in his mind. “When you give me such a mission, you should give me some hints, too. Help me a little, or I don’t require you at all!”Jake’s reverse threatening tactic worked.[Use me.]The system replied with two simple words.“Use you?” J

It was a long strand of hair, which startled the waiter.“I’m so sorry, sir,” the waiter quickly apologized.“Bring me another burger,” Jake said, picking up the burger on the table and throwing it perfectly into the distant dustbin.“O-Okay,” the waiter hurriedly left.“You still want to eat here after seeing that hair?” Anne hissed. “Let’s just leave.”“C’mon. Have you never seen hair in home made food?” Jake replied casually. “It happens every now and then, so it’s no big deal.” He pushed the sandwich toward her.“Ugh,” Instead of eating, she kept scrutinizing it, looking to see if there were any hairs, which made Jake chuckle.Soon, the waiter brought another burger.Jake glanced at it and gave a thumbs up after noticing the extra cheese. “Mm, the extra cheese always helps.”“Thank you,” the waiter was happy that his efforts

I guess he's quite rich.”Anne frowned, trying to subdue the rising anger within her. “You should mind your own business, Shane.”“Yeah. You dumped me because I wasn’t good enough for you, right?” Shane snorted. “I spent so many days with you, and you threw me out of your life as if I’m a flower.” He looked at Jake. “You shouldn’t trust these women, bro. Both of them were badly wounded, and they weren’t conscious, either.“How could you do that to your own sister?” Delma’s jaw hardened.“What are you saying? She pointed her finger at her own sister for the sake of a toad,” Trisha indifferently said. “If I don’t discipline her well now, she will only get worse in time, don’t you think?”Delma didn’t say anything.Trisha clapped twice. Two of her bodyguards rushed over.“Take those two and go to the Blake mansion,” she told them, and they obliged. As the guards took Davis and Tessa away, Delma didn’

Did she really call him to tell just that? “I didn’t know that you liked muffins.”“I used to eat them when I was young,” Tessa replied. “I like the raisins they put in these muffins.
