Chapter 03

''A-acupuncture?'' The Pilot reacted.

All the reactions that came after were different from what Atlas expected.

Everything was very different, with some villagers who came to him and Master Blake to ask for help. All of them here gives a resigned look, seeming to look in disbelief because they think Atlas's words were a joke at the wrong time.

Medical science is far more advanced than acupuncture.

''You don't believe it? I've helped many people through this technique,'' said Atlas trying to convince them.

''Sir, if you misstep with your 'ancient' ability, can you account for it to this, Miss?'' Martin was still trying to suppress Atlas. He will stick to the principles of his profession and all of these have clear procedures that he must adhere to.

"I already told you, even your ability to read, I doubt it. Now you say acupuncture to help save this person's life. Do you want to be a spectacle? Or are you crazy?" Martin pointed at Atlas repeatedly. There was no way he, who was a great doctor and couldn't treat this patient right now, would instead hear a funny sentence from the shabby man in front of him.

Atlas chuckled, not because of the rejection from this doctor, who he thought was too selfish, but during this debate, a lot of time had been wasted and it was increasingly pulling this older man's life forward to the brink of death.

"Yes, my clothes are ugly. They were cheap because my grandfather bought them. But I'm confident in my abilities."

Meanwhile, the pilot, who received a call from the main cabin, chuckled too and was forced to leave this 'hot' cabin because he needed to prevent bad things from happening to all the plane occupants still speeding through the night sky.

“I don't care at all costs, I want this man to be saved. I will grant permission if that man's ancient methods can bring about good results.”

Atlas, who had unrolled the cloth he had brought earlier, began to select some fine needles he heated with fire from the match he always carried everywhere. It's just a simple sterilization action before the delicate object starts to be stuck at several meridian points to prevent blood clots which will become very dangerous.

However, doctor Martin still hasn't relented. He again held Atlas's hand, which was about to light a match.

''I will not allow you,'' he said firmly.

The doctor's gaze was precisely like a tiger meeting its opponent, which he thought was perfectly balanced.

''Our time is getting narrower. Didn't I say that this old man is in danger?” Atlas was not to be outdone.

Doctor Martin arrogantly took a needle between Atlas's fingers, slipped it back into place, and started rolling the cloth. He placed it onto the palm of Atlas's hand, which he deliberately stretched to receive.

''The world will punish you because of your actions, Doctor,'' Hwang spoke in a deep tone.

Now his patience was starting to leak a little like the wind that slowly comes out of a rubber float which will soon make him sink into anger because Doctor Martin has been playing with the safety of a human being.

"I won't let you touch him again. I was the first to come and now he is under my charge! Besides, ancient knowledge is unlikely to help much in advanced times like now, except perhaps for the rural people who cannot keep up with the times."

''No need to involve them.''

“Look! You want to be a late hero?''

Atlas took a breath, trying to close the small hole in his patience so it wouldn't leak and make him beat this arrogant man in front of him.

Another commotion emerged from several passengers who had been transferred to another cabin. They were displeased at having to be moved, which was clear from the words in their mouths.

''I will stay here and can remain silent for the sake of the old man and his granddaughter.'' The words came out of a young woman's mouth with a western style.

Two flight attendants looked overwhelmed and still tried to give their best smile to ease the emotions of some passengers who had no conscience. Wouldn't their eyes still be able to see if that poor older man remained in the same position? Someone even tiptoed as they passed through the rest of the room beside the older man.

''Are these the medical records?'' Atlas asked the young girl, whose face was a mess because she couldn't stop crying.

The girl nodded, and then swiftly, Atlas opened sheet by sheet. The analysis is correct.

Just closing the sheet of paper, a crash came from behind him. The frantic voice of the flight attendant made Hwang rush to turn his head. It turned out to be a young girl who had been lying unconscious. Mentally very depressed because of this situation.

''Lay her down here!'' said Martin, who was also shocked because he didn't expect the girl to collapse.

The doctor immediately examined the young girl's condition and attempted to regain consciousness.

''Miss, open your eyes!'' he cried.

No reaction.

''What happened?'' The pilot reappeared and was shocked because one more passenger was lying unconscious.

''She was in shock because of the influence of the situation with her grandfather. However, I can guarantee that she will not experience any pain.” Doctor Martin answered, then asked the flight attendant to cover the girl's body.

''What about this Master? Is he conscious?” The pilot sounded like a clown asking ridiculous questions because he could see with his own eyes that the older man was still motionless, but he was no longer on the floor.

''Our time is getting tight, if we have to, then I ask permission to carry out rescue actions on him,'' Atlas begged the pilot.

The pilot, who had been sure about permitting Atlas, was again attacked by doubts. A successful businessman has many rivals who will try to find loopholes to launch their uniforms.

''How can I trust you? Even the clothes you're wearing, too-'' He didn't finish his sentence. The continuation can be guessed from the movement of the pilot's eyes that looked at Atlas's body from top to bottom.

“No!” shouted someone from the other side.
