Chapter 04

''Grandpa?'' whispered a young girl who had just realized. Whether it was all thanks to the help of Doctor Martin or a natural miracle, she only fainted for no less than five minutes.

Martin straightened his head and took a deep breath. Now he looked so greedy as if he wanted to scoop up all the remaining air in the airplane cabin. He was staring down at Atlas, still silent, standing not far from the curtain.

He was about to leave the cabin but failed because he heard the girl's soft voice. He considered this a natural response.

“You can see how modern medical science got to this point? I'm not sure if this young lady will wake up after being pierced by dozens of needles of an ancient method that isn't guaranteed of technique.” Doctor Martin felt the upper hand.

Everyone there started whispering to each other and looking sinisterly at Atlas. He knew that now everyone there was insulting him in a whisper. Even the flight attendants, supposed to maintain their attitude towards their passengers, did not escape that annoying look.

“Sir, I do not mean to disrespect your good intentions, but I don't think I can let you do that to Grandpa either. There is no clear guarantee that something bad will happen afterwards.'' The girl spoke up, it turned out that she was already in a sitting position with a loyal flight attendant supporting her body which was still unbalanced.

''Miss, there's no way I have bad intentions for your grandfather. I have intuition and feel it is an obligation to help someone in need,'' explained Atlas. I don't know what made him hard-hearted to save the older man.

The woman shook her head weakly, she obviously wouldn't let a stranger who was not a medic touch her grandfather. The life she and her family have led has led her to have her intuition, a keen wary eye for those who would take advantage of their shortcomings. Business lives that will destroy each other justify any means to maintain themselves and remain at the top of the 'food chain'.

''But, Miss. I can't guarantee your grandfather will survive before this plane lands. Seeing that his condition was so bad, he could have vomited blood or something worse.” Atlas presented the results of his analysis.

Unexpectedly, doctor Martin laughed. He then took a step and stood before Atlas with a stern face.

''Are you God who can predict the age of my patient?'' His tone was very threatening. He can no longer hide his true character, which turns out to be very arrogant and self-righteous.

However, all of that was true, he did feel he was on a level below God because his two hands and ten fingers had saved dozens of human lives who already had the faintest hope of recovery.

The education he has taken has even spent millions of dollars; all of that doesn't just take place in one day or week. It all took years for him to succeed in carrying out several studies and a new method to save people who have a disease of the nerves.

''I never said if I am a God who has set someone's age. however, all my diagnoses were based on the facts right before my eyes.” Atlas was not daunted at all, not because he was ten centimeters taller than this haughty doctor, but because he cared for the older man who reminded him of Master Ho.

What if this happened to Master Blake? The older man has been the closest person in his life for seventeen years.

''It's good that you're self-conscious, Sir!'' the doctor hissed while pointing at Atlas's face.

“Sir, you'd better go back to your seat. Also, for other passengers in this cabin, I ask for your cooperation,'' said the pilot, who looked resigned.

''I'll be back after helping that man,'' said Atlas, just one step was taken, and suddenly, he got a rough push from Doctor Martin so that he crashed into the wall of the cabin, to be precise at an emergency exit in front of the top seat.

''You will deal with me if you dare to touch it,'' the doctor hissed with a finger pointing back at Atlas.

If only Atlas didn't have such strong self-control, he might have picked up the arrogant man's shirt collar and thrown him off the plane.

However, he always remembered Master   Blake's first message before his first martial arts training. Everything must rely on 'patience' because through that patience, you can judge what type of moves your opponent will throw.

Atlas had just discovered that this arrogant man was simply someone with no self-control, let alone martial arts. It's not easy if Atlas does the opposite because it will only worsen things.

''Stop it!'' snapped the Pilot, who finally got angry.

“You can hold this strange man, but not me! Do you want something bad to happen to this Miss' grandfather?” He spoke in a very arrogant manner.

“Sir, you better go back. I want this commotion to continue and become a simple problem later."

Even the girl is now participating in 'throwing out' Atlas, who sincerely intends to help her grandfather.

''That's right! After all, who would believe you, even if you wear clothes that are 'slightly' more appropriate,'' added Doctor Martin while nodding his head at a passenger who immediately responded with a nod of approval.

Atlas could only take a deep breath and close his eyes. He already had no choice here, also, if something he feared happened to that man, he would try to forget about the guilt.

He gave in and raised his hands to his head as a sign of surrender. A flight attendant near the cabin curtain quickly noticed Atlas's movements. He was the first to come back. Trying to keep a professional look on his face, then pulls back the curtains for Atlas.

"I know your good intentions, sir. However, as you can see, not all of our good intentions are warmly welcomed. I also often experience it,'' said the flight attendant before she opened the second curtain.

''Hm, I think so,'' replied Atlas briefly.
