Chapter 05

''Is everything all right?''

The question from the woman, who seemed to have been very curious about what was happening in front of her, was not meant to indicate she was worried about other people. However, it was a question to release her curiosity and become a topic of conversation that could keep her mouth busy with other women who were also waiting earlier with curious faces.

Atlas didn't mind and chose to sit back down immediately, then closed his eyes.

"He didn't even waste his last breath on me," the woman quipped.

Not enough two minutes to get calm, the footsteps of a flight attendant recognized by Atlas were heard approaching and stopping beside him.

“Sir, is there anything you need? The captain sent me here,'' said the woman quietly.

"Captain?" Atlas slowly opened his eyes, his thick eyebrows barely knit together. Who is the Captain?

''The captain is currently controlling this plane,'' she replied quickly.

Atlas immediately understood. The man who works as the primary pilot on this plane is what the flight attendant is referring to. Atlas then shook his head, he didn't feel he needed anything other than calming down.

Meditation before the plane lands will put her in a better mood.

"Okay, if you need anything, you can call me immediately by pressing this button."

''Okay,'' he said indifferently and closed his eyes again.

While flashing a sad smile, the flight attendant straightened up again and turned around to return to her place.

Five minutes passed and everything had calmed down again. Atlas chose to sleep rather than meditate. If he falls asleep, it will be easier for him to wake up and be aware of his surroundings.

This was the right choice because five minutes later, several very hasty footsteps moved closer, entering this cabin and making Atlas's eyelids open again.

All the passengers' eyes were fixed on the figure of a young girl who appeared with puffy eyes and a blushing face. The girl's eyes moved quickly in all directions to find the young man she was looking for. Atlas knows that something unexpected has finally happened, making him reflexively get up from his seat and grab the roll of cloth containing his acupuncture equipment with alacrity.

"Sir, please help my grandfather!" she begged.

The girl's legs weakened instantly when Atlas approached, she would have almost collapsed if not quickly held by the two flight attendants who had followed her earlier.

Atlas didn't need to ask what happened because he saw a little spot of blood on the hem of the girl's shirt. The fashionable brown attire did little to cover up the bloodstains that must have been from the older man.

However, Atlas immediately receded. He again remembered the ridicule and humiliation of the people who had hindered his good intentions to help the older man. However good temper and self-control Atlas possessed, he was still a human being with dignity.

"I don't think you can hope for your help, miss. I'm not sure my ancient method can save your grandpa, as you and that great doctor said."

“Sir, I beg you ….” The girl now completely flopped down and was in a kneeling position.

She didn't care about the tens of curious faces now fixed on them. The cabin began to fill with people asking each other what had happened.

“Sir, wouldn't it be bad to make a pretty girl kneel and beg you in front of everyone?” A passenger in the front seat near them spoke up.

Atlas was silent, he didn't want to care what the woman said.

“Sir, I beg you. Please save my grandfather. I promise I'll do anything for you in return."

''Look at that poor girl. Don't you have a little pity? Even if you don't have relatives or family, at least have concern and sympathy for fellow human beings.” The woman spoke again. It turned out that her mouth was hotter than the other woman sitting next to Atlas's bench earlier.

Before Atlas could take a breath, the curtains opened again. This time, the primary pilot appeared and looked at Atlas expectantly.

Atlas sighed and stepped back inside the curtain. He didn't care about the girl who was still sobbing behind him.

However, Atlas's patience was tested again when he received a raw refusal from Doctor Martin, who was trying to help an older man.

''Better not come closer. I do not want to bear the trouble of the results of your actions later!'' he snapped.

Atlas knew that the doctor was trying to give his best impression in front of everyone. He didn't want the 'effort' to come from a young foreigner who was shabby and, according to him, might have never received a proper education.

''Now, the problem is not in my refusal,'' said Atlas to the pilot beside him.

Finally, the Pilot took a bold decision. ''Please leave this to him, Doc. Our time is running out."

Doctor Martin thought fast, if this were the case, obviously bad things would not happen to his excellent name later. And so he chose to leave it to this highly unconvincing young foreigner.

Considering that the older man's condition seemed very bad and he had just vomited quite a lot of blood as predicted by Atlas, he rushed to make preparations and immediately launched his acupuncture method. Everyone there can

Everyone who was there simultaneously held their breath. They feared that one big breath would disturb Atlas's concentration and cause something fatal to happen to the older man.

Everything was so calm, even the primary pilot chose to stay in his position not far from Atlas. He will witness the entire process, from start to finish and hopes that her decision to ask Atlas for help is not a mistake.

''You're sweating,'' said the flight attendant, who during this flight was the one who had the most interaction with him.

''Full concentration makes a little bad fat in your body burn,'' replied Hwang casually.

He had just completed the acupuncture process by piercing the nine meridian points.

''Soon, he will realize I have given him the potion smeared with the acupuncture needle earlier. Leave it in a lying position like this, when you land, immediately take your grandfather to the hospital so you don't doubt what I'm doing."

That's Atlas's message to pack up his equipment and return to his cabin.

However, a pair of weak and gentle hands restrained his sturdy arms. Atlas's steps stopped.

“Sir, once Grandfather wakes up, I will keep my promise. State what you want from me,'' said the young girl, who felt relieved.

"Don't look down on yourself, Miss. Everyone performing rescue actions will never expect anything from others." Those sarcastic words didn't come from Atlas but Doctor Martin standing behind them.

“What he said was true, Miss. I didn't expect anything.” For the first time, Atlas put on the young girl's genuine pepper smile.

Before the plane landed, what Atlas said happened, the older man managed to open his eyes and made a loud crying sound.
