CHAPTER 7:  BEING ONE OF THE SHAREHOLDERS OF THE HOTEL

"Well, that's great!" Patrick said he was glad that one of the shareholders wanted to see their share of the company. He would gladly buy it immediately and would not even think about it twice.

Sarita smiled at him and asked. "Do you want to wait for the reply of the other shareholder to decide if you would buy their share or not?"

"No! Do you have his bank information so I can transfer the money right now?" Patrick asked and didn't mind the mocking of John.

"Yes!" Sarita answered and gave Patrick all the bank information of one of the shareholders.

Patrick gladly paid the shareholder the one million that he offered, after the bank transfers. Patrick was officially one of the shareholders of the company.

"What now!? Are you still not awake in your illusion? Come on, don't fool yourself anymore. You should be ashamed of yourself for wasting their time on your nonsense,"  Mark mocked Patrick because he knows that a person like him would never be able to buy shares of a luxury hotel.

"The transfer is complete! Mr. Patrick Holes is now one of the official shareholders of the company," Sarita loudly said, as she wanted them to hear that Patrick is one of the shareholders of the hotel.

Everyone is shocked at what they heard because looking at Patrick no one would be able to know that he can afford that kind of stuff. Especially, he looked like a beggar in the clothes that he was wearing right now.

"Congratulations, sir!" Sarita immediately congratulates him.

Patrick smiled at her and said. "Don't please! Now that I am one of the new shareholders of this place. I wanted you to fire the general manager and banned Mark and Amelia from coming into this luxury hotel. They don't belong in here if they don't know how to respect people,"

"What!? You can't do that!" Mark protested.

"Babe he is humiliating us!" Amelia said.

"You can leave now!" Patrick said to them, he didn't want to see them walking around in the hotel. After the humiliation that he went through them, he just wanted them out of the hotel.

Mark protested and said. "There is some sort of mistake. Check again, Sarita. He would not be able to afford to pay a million dollars to be one of the shareholders of the hotel. I mean just looked at him, if he have that kind of money all along, then why did he even bother not buying some clothes so he would not look like a beggar,"

"Right! He is poor, he won't be able to afford this kind of stuff.  He might be messing with you, " Amelia added.

"Can't you just accept the fact that I have some money and I can afford this kind of stuff? You are so bitter and wanted to ruin everything for me," Patrick told them, he just shook his head.

"I'm telling the truth because if you have some money. You won't be licking my spit on the floor just to get a five-hundred dollars tip earlier. Wake up, dirtbag! You won't be able to afford this kind of stuff, maybe Sarita is just being kind to you that is why she was letting you go like that. Maybe she just felt pity for that is why she was so nice,"  Mark insulted him, he believe that Patrick would never afford that kind of thing.

Patrick smirked at him and told him. "Come on,  Mark. Just accepted the fact that I have some money and I was able to afford something like this. If you are jealous then bought some shares also. Stop whining and just mind your own life,"

"How dare you!"

"Sarita I wanted this general manager to be fired right away. Also please dragged Mark and Amelia outside of this hotel," Patrick told Sarita.

"I will, sir!" Sarita answered politely.

"You can't do that!" Mark angrily shouted at him.

"Yes, I can do that because I am now one of the shareholders of this place," Patrick answered.

"No, you are not. Stop with your illusion," Mark said.

"Also if you escort them outside gave them some leftovers, so they would have some lunch," Patrick ordered.

Sarita called some guards to escort Mark and Amelia outside of the building, even thou they are resisting and insisted that they wanted to stay inside the hotel.

Everyone was shocked to realize that everything that was happening was true. They can't believe that Patrick was able to pay for that kind of stuff. Because if people are looking at him right now from the clothes that he was wearing they would not know that he have some money.

"Thank you for everything!" Patrick thanked her, as Sarita was the only person that believe in him and that served him politely.

"It's fine, Sir! It's my job to take care of our customers," Sarita answered.

"I don't know how can I make it up to you for being that nice to me," Patrick said while thinking of a way to make it up to Sarita. He wanted to do something that would give back the kindness that Sarita was giving him.

"You don't need to worry!" Sarita answered because she knows that she only did what she have to do, which was to serve every customer with respect.

Patrick looked at everyone and said. "Everyone's lunch right now is free. I would pay for it!"

"Are you sure?" Sarita asked to make sure.

"Yes!" Patrick responded, because of the happiness that Patrick felt today he wanted to share the money that he have by paying everyone's lunch bill. It was something that he could only do for now.

"Okay! I would take note of that, I would just send you the bill later!" Sarita answered, she left to assist with the bill that she would give Patrick later to pay.

After Sarita left, Almira the general manager was shaking in fear because she knew that she would be fired any minute.

"Sir... Sir... I'm sorry," Almira begged on her knees, the fierce woman that was mocking and insulting Patrick had faded away when Patrick was able to be one of the shareholders of the place.

"What do you want?" Patrick asked her, he didn't want to see her face it felt him disgusted because she is one of the people that looked down on him, and judge him based on his appearance

"I'm sorry sir!" Almira said sorry because she knows that she needs the job to make ends meet, without the job that she had right now she won't be able to survive and would not know where she would get some money for the things that she wanted.

Patrick looked at him and said. "You are one of the people that judge a book by its cover!"

"It won't happen again, im sorry sir. Please let me have one more chance. I promise you it won't again,"  Almira said to assure Patrick, but he seems not to believe the words of Almira.

"You won't change you would always be like that looking down on other people. I don't think that you would be able to change," Patrick said.

Minutes later, Sarita came back with a bill, and Almira's attention turns to her and tried to blame her. " Sarita was one the ones that told me that you looked like a beggar and poor. That is why I treated you that you. I'm sorry sir. It was Sarita's fault not, mine!"
