Therese was crying and holding on to a picture of Renée when she was small. She couldn't help but blame herself for everything that had occurred. There was a knock on the door and when she raised her head to see who it was, it was Clifford. He wore a remorseful look on his face as he stood by the doorframe.

She didn't even bother to acknowledge him, she just turned around and shoved the picture of her daughter into the bag.
