Irene and Esme shared a look. “What was that?” Esme asked, concerned.

“Skyler,” Irene breathed and jumped on her feet.

“What? How are you so sure it's - hey where are you going?!”

She didn't wait to explain anything to Esme before running out. Within seconds she had dashed to the end of the hallway. The door to Skyler's room was ajar and she entered the room panting.

“Woah, calm down what's going on with you?” Sam said.

Irene's eyes darted around the room and she found Skyler looking slightly frightened by the corner with Mason standing close to her.

“Hey, what are you doing to her?” she mediately got on the defensive without even hearing out any explanation.

“Irene it's okay, he just scared me with a snake.”

“A snake? Why would you bring a snake here and why are you even here at this time?”

“Would you just take a chill pill, I'm the one that asked him to bring the snake, it's my pet,” Samantha explained.
