Trevor cracked his eyes open, he was lying down on a bed in a dimly lit room. His head instantly began to spin as he tried to sit upright, making him lie back down.

He pressed his temples with his hands and his face twisted. “Ugh… where am I? What happened?” He said in a dry voice.

“The doctor tried to escape.”

Remembrance flashed within his mind. “That stupid doctor! I knew he was up to something. We shouldn't have trusted him. Where is he now? Did he escape?”

The man standing beside him shook his head slowly. “He tried to steal the speedboat but I shot at it and it exploded. There was no way he would survive that. The whole thing went in flames.”

He got up on his feet, trying to fight the effect of gravity. “So where's his body?”

“We didn't find a body, he must have burnt to a crisp or something.”

Trevor grabbed his collar tightly, pinning him against the wall. “You fools! The speed boat exploded in the water, you couldn't find a body and you think he's dead?”
