• Flat Tire

Leilani's panic began to grow. Her heart was beating faster and she placed her arms on her waist, straining her eyes to see if she could catch a glimpse of Keith or anyone that looked like him.

She covered her mouth with her palms and then exhaled. What if the worst had happened? Would she just go ahead without him? She couldn't. It's not like she would even know her way around.

Her mind was still preoccupied with thoughts when her daughter looked ahead. “Daddy!” She exclaimed and then rushed forward. Leilani tried to reach out and grab her daughter but she wasn't quick enough.

She was about to open her mouth and reprimand her daughter for just running off like that when she raised her head and saw him.

Relief washed over her as she was to hug him. “What happened? Why did you take so long? I was scared, I thought something had happened to you.”

“The taxi that I was in had a flat tire.”
