The tables shook, and all the breakables on them fell to the floor, crashing and shattering. The force of impact knocked almost everybody to the ground and the chandelier in the hall swung dramatically from side to side.

There was a huge crack on almost all the windows and the place was filled with smoke. Whispers broke out in the room as everybody began to get up and run haywire.

Ethan immediately jumped on his feet and continued on his way to meet Valerie. “What was that?” She asked in a scared tone as soon as she and Ethan reunited.

“That was a missile,” Ethan said.

“A missile? If that was the missile we would all be dead by now,” Clifford pointed out.

“This is a high security building, it's blast resistant,” Ethan explained.

The officers began to guide people safely out of the building. “Are you hurt?” Ethan asked Valerie, raking his eyes over her body to see if there were any visible injuries.

“No no I'm fine, I just fell.”
