Skyler was seated on her bed with a downcast expression sprawled across her face. Samantha was by the corner ironing her shirt when she paused, looking over her shoulders at her roommate.

She had to return to school in the evening yesterday because she had classes today and Elizabeth did not want her to miss the class.

“What's got you feeling depressed like that?” She asked. “Oh, is it boy issues?”

She raised her head, about to say something to counter what Samantha had just said, but in actuality, it was technically boy issues. Skylar's silence reinforced Samantha's proposition.

“Omg,” she let out, setting the pressing iron aside. “It is boy issues!” She exclaimed.

“It's not exactly boy issues like that, he's just my friend and-”
