Skyler was holding her bag and rushing towards the class, she was running late already and she knew it. Today was her first official class. She set an alarm but she was certain Samantha must have turned it off the moment it started ringing and didn’t bother to wake her up.

She pushed open the door and all heads turned to face her. She held her breath as if she was under the spotlight and being thoroughly scrutinized. Some people whispered things into the ears of their friends and began to snicker.

Embarrassment washed over her even though she wasn’t sure whether or not they were talking about her. She lowered her head and tried to make her way to the back seat. “Hey there Dorathy, not so fast.”
