The Cathedral was silent except for the gentle wind that ruffled the Fallen Angel’s feathers. The Fallen Angel stood there, one hand resting on the amber that had trapped Kyle in place. His faze lingered on the young man.

Kyle gulped. He felt like his worth was being calculated. Was he worth freeing, or was he useless to the Fallen Angel? Normally, this would get on the young man’s nerves. Now though, his mind was filled with fear – with the fear of being trapped here forever.

He felt like he would do anything to get out of here. Anything.
