As soon as the white light emanating from the angel touched his skin, he felt his strength rapidly drain away. Suddenly, just standing on his feet was a challenge. He grabbed onto the amber, right where he had scratched before with his spell.
The smooth surface of the chunk of amber confused him for a moment. Had it fixed itself? Already?!
“Now, let us see just how it is that a human soul has carried over his magic into the Celestial Plane.” The Angel muttered almost absentmindedly. Kyle gritted his teeth and pointed at the ground. “Sunburst!” he hissed as the angel approached him.
