Her sword reflected the light of the slowly setting sun as the Fallen Knight grasped its leatherbound hilt with both hands. Her armoured gloves creaked as she did so.
Kyle slowly stepped back. This was a powerful foe. He clenched his fists. “Fallen Knight!” He called out as he reached for his own sword. “I come on behalf of the Elves!”
The knight’s steps did not slow down as she raised her sword. “All under the Light of the Gods must die – you serve the Elves, and I shall be your end!” Her voice radiated with power.
Kyle tightened his grasp on the hilt of his straight sword. “And I will bring you back to the light.” He whispered under his breath. She was perfect!

The Orchard was as peaceful as ever. The elves welcomed him, though much less ceremoniously than before. They had gotten somewhat used to having him around by now.
