On the other hand, Zarkhan has returned to flying after having regenerated for a while. Just as Azzim is ready for his final attack, Zarkhan is also ready to leash all the heat out of his stomach.
Zarkhan raises his head for a moment. He then takes it towards Azzim with his mouth wide open. A dazzling hot light comes out of the bottom of his mouth cavity.
Another burst of Corrosive Breath, much more corrosive, much hotter, with far more concentrated venomous gasses than before, blows out of his mouth. It seems that Zarkhan's instinct has also been realizing it too, that he should no longer underestimate that one warrior he is currently facing.
Azzim runs toward that attack with his dear life on the line, intending to block the monster's corrosive breath. Just before his body is hit by the monster's torrent, he depletes it with his sword away.
His Magical Short Sword, which has been strengthened by the dense dark red plasma Azzim drew out, is able to disperse the deadly Corrosive Breath of The Great Zarkhan. But Azzim hasn't stopped his run. He is far from finished yet.
Once he reaches close enough to the monster’s chest, he launches a powerful thrusting attack. A shock wave that is engulfed by such dense plasma hits the throbbing part of Zarkhan’s chest. The wave of the attack keeps piercing into the monster’s heart.
“Damn, you brat!”
Azzim is startled to hear the monster speak in human language. In the nearly 10 years he has been trapped in “Alorexa”, this is the first time he meets such a huge monster talking to him.
“Fuck! How could a wimpy kid like you...” Zarkhan grumbles while covering the hole in his chest with his both wings.
“Azzim, get out of there!” Leia shouts.
Shortly after, Azzim sees something starting to glow behind the thick membranes of Zarkhan’s wings. A massive heat energy makes Zarkhan explode from within.
Azzim closes his face with his short sword by instinct, yet he is blown so hard by the shock of the explosion. His body is slammed against the cave wall and falls to the ground. Meanwhile, Leia collapsed after desperately holding on to her position.
As soon as Azzim tries to lift his head, he sees pieces of flesh from Zarkhan's body scattered all over the place. While its body fluids are still releasing toxic and corrosive gasses.
In the end, he managed to kill Gatekeeper for the Sixth Trial. The portal gate’s color is also turning into blue, indicating it has been activated after the death of The Great Zarkhan. But the problem is, they are all in a critical state.
Zul and Gaston, as well as Leia, lay on the ground unconscious. While Azzim himself is still lying down, seeming to find it so difficult to get back up.
Even though the portal gate has been activated, everything would be in vain if they don’t leave the cavern immediately. Because the poisonous and corrosive gasses released by Zarkhan earlier still filled all over the cavern area.

Azzim continues walking in a limp towards his friends who are all unconscious. He keeps on muttering, as if grumbling to tell the alert system to shut up.
But the notification continues to appear in the corner of his view, in small size, with a sound that is also getting quieter.

This is the problem being inflicted by poison damage over time. It’s not just decreasing their HP, but also lowering their Vitality level.
In fact, the level of Vitality status influences the internal healing process within the body itself. It also affects the effectiveness of HP regeneration. The lower the level of vitality, the less effective the healing process being done by the body.
But Azzim knows, as long as they manage to get to the portal gate, they will survive for sure.
When he gets near Leia, he seems to change his mind. He realizes that Leia's Vitality Aura is still active. It turns out to still help him and the others to negate the effects of the Nethertoxin and all the poisonous gasses that inflict poison damage over time to their bodies.
He realizes that he could only help one person at a time. So he chooses to leave Leia there so that her Vitality Aura can still help him and the other to withstand the poison. With a body so weak, Azzim drags Gaston and Zul one by one towards the portal gate.
After delivering them to the Seventh Trial Realm through the portal, he comes over to Leia. But as soon as he arrives, he falls down to the ground right beside Leia, inside the tiny circle of The Banner Of The Senopati Bayantika.
He pats Leia's cheek, trying to wake her up.
“Leia, wake up! The portal has been activated. We can advance to the Seventh Trial Realm now. I can't take you to that portal by myself. Please, wake up!” Azzim wakes Leia with a low voice, continuing to pat Leia on the cheek.
Leia opens her eyes. But she looks so weak. She glances around and finds the pieces of Zarkhan's body scattered around her.
“So, you managed to kill that monster, huh?” mutters Leia with a slight smile.
“I have sent Zul and Gaston to the next realm. We can't stay here. That monster's Nethertoxin is still filling this place with its poisonous gasses,” explains Azzim.
Leia tries his best to get up with the help of Azzim. Before leaving, she notices that there is something odd about her HP regeneration rate. She realizes that The Banner of Senopati Bayantika is still stuck in the ground.
“Azzim, please take out the banner. Or else, it keeps draining my mana away,” says Leia.
As soon as Azzim pulls out the banner, the four colors of different aura that is filling the cave shrinks to its original point, only affecting the small radius around Leia. Three of the auras disappear, only leaving one green aura that surrounds Leia and Azzim.
It is Leia's level 1 Vitality Aura which still has passive effect even without her activating it. It’s just that it has a lower effect than an active Level 1 Vitality Aura. As long as she has mana to consume, the aura will continue to help restore her and all of her allies’ HP, and also share a certain percentage of her HP regeneration to others.
But unfortunately, before they manage to take more steps toward the portal gate, Leia faints again and the Vitality Aura disappears as soon as her mana runs empty.
The alert system keeps appearing, showing how dire his situation currently is.********************[Alert!][Your HP has reached 3% and keeps decreasing][Your Vitality has reached 10% and continues to decline]- When your HP reaches 1%, you won't be able to move.- When your Vitality reaches 5%, your base HP regeneration rate will turn to 0 and your body will stop healing by itself.********************“Shut up!” he mumbles. And suddenly, they fall not too far from the portal. Azzim tries his best to crawl while dragging Leia along with him. But he becomes increasingly pessimistic about his chance of getting out of that place alive.“Leia, wake up. I can't drag you around like this,” Azzim cries, patting Leia's cheek again.Leia opens her eyes once more, though not fully conscious.“Then, just leave me here,” she replies with a weak voice. But then, she closes her eyes again. Azzim starts to growl, slamming his hands on the floor. He is so angry and desperate, because the portal is
Azzim realizes, his personal status has returned to the ground state, just like the first time he entered Alorexa, the simulation world he is currently in.However, he finds something odd. How could he has such a high value in Inteligence while he has such a low mana point. As far as he knew, the level of inteligence is always in line with how much mana someone has. Thought, he also knows it so well that he is not an Inteligence type warrior like Leia and Zul.But somehow, he then realizes it, that value of inteligence is not too much different than his latest intelligence value before he entered the Sixth Trial Realm.“Could it be that this number only indicates the level of insight and knowledge I have gained so far in this 10 years?” he speculates. After all, It's not like he lost his memory after he dies. He still remembers it so well how he fought the Great Zarkhan recently.Azzim gets out of the sleeping pod and rushes to find the exit. His foot accidentally hits another sleepin
Given that his only option is to retake the trial, Azzim is secretly moving to the northernmost side of Gurdat Town. He reaches to a site where there is a portal gate that is still in red color. He doesn't know when the gate will be active again. He doesn't know either when The First Trial Realm at the outside will be reset. He gets into the bushes, where he can observe the condition of the gate from a distance. He waits there while hiding his existence from the others. Some hours later, when the sky is getting darker, he hears the chattering sounds of the people he had previously met before. “Hopefully they die and be sent back here. That way, we can repay them back in the most painful way.” “But, what if they survive and then, they transfer back to this town without dying? That way, they keep their level and items. And here we are, at level 0 with just this simple white clothes. There’s no way for us to pay back what they had done to us.” There Azzim remembers, only in The Firs
The man named Zircho pulls out his dagger violently, and then laughs so sadistically, leaving Azzim on his knees while covering his bleeding belly. The other two men follow Zircho. However, the one warrior with level 14 glances back at Azzim for a moment. But then, Zircho calls for him.“Where do we go next, Lorior?” shouts the man named Zircho. As soon as that man reacts to Zircho’s call, the holographic texts above his head changes, displaying “Lv 14. The Loser No. 129 a.k.a. Lorior”.The man named Lorior, who happens to be their leader, turns and walks into the woods ahead of his friends.“Just follow me!” he says.It seems that Zircho guy has deliberately not killed Azzim immediately so that he would suffer longer. He thought, Azzim would not survive either if he just left him dying like that. However, Azzim is still alive and able to close his wound with two hands. He looks around, finding himself in the middle of a not-so-wide savanna. He hears the sound of waves crashing agains
Suddenly, he flinches, finding his entire vision filled with rippling water, as well as the entanglement of several scaly arms that he could not see clearly. Azzim tries to scream, struggling to break free. But instead, he chokes with water filling his throat. And then, he is suddenly able to let his scream out. However... “Dung!!!” Out of clues, his head hits the glass door of the sleeping pod. “Shit? What was that?” he murmurs while rubbing his forehead. Azzim pushes the door, looking so breathless with cold sweat dripping down his body. “What just happened? How did I get here?” In fact, Azzim is already in the dark room in one of the buildings in Gurdat Town. It is unclear what caused his death. Whether it was because of the wound he received, or because of something unclear that he has just experienced before returning to his senses in the sleeping pod. One thing for sure, he returns to that dark room because he just died out there. He lets his body lie down on the sleeping
That mysterious voice no longer appears. Everyone is silent, confused, trying to digest everything that has just been conveyed by someone who called himself as “Bang Sat”.“What was that?”"What should we do now?”“Hey, he said that we are in a town, right? Could it be, there is a way out of this room?”“How would I know?”And then, the dark room starts to get a little noisy as those 10 people are busy looking for a way out. They even collide with each other, and it leads to a commotion. There are also those who accidentally bump into the other sleeping pods.Until someone accidentally hits the sleeping pod where Azzim is sleeping. It wakes him up. Realizing the commotion in the dark room, Azzim pushes the door of his sleeping pod.As he gets out, he sees holographic text mentioning “Lv 0. The Loser No. 163” above someone’s head.“Oh, sorry. I didn’t know there are still people who haven't come out of that thing,” says that man in a slightly awkward tone. But then, the man notices som
Realizing those inmates are walking towards him from a distance, Azzim chooses to step aside. Meanwhile, the newbie is still standing pensively watching the bizarre sight he is encountering for the first time. “Hey, let’s get out of here!” Azzim pulls the newbie’s neck with his arm. “Wo, woaa. Why are...” “Just stay away from them for now,” Azzim replies. He stands aside by leaning against a wall of a building. Most of the inmates pass by while glancing coldly at him. It’s indeed they are all already know about Azzim’s existence in the first stage trial. And finally, Azzim sees Zircho’s face among them, grinning and glaring at him with a despised look. Azzim's just silent, not showing any emotion at all. No anger, neither a hatred. His face is so flat and cold, not wanting to let any thought inside his mind to be found out by anyone. But in fact, as a veteran assassin, he has been busy thinking about so many things he is going to do, to pay what that man had done to him. But then
Hearing the commotion, Azzim becomes even more convinced of his previous guess. The realm was reset prematurely because of a group of inmates had entered the Gatekeeper’s Dungeon to try completing the first stage trial. But sadly, in just one hour, they were all dead and respawned back as level 0 warriors. One of them, The Loser No. 97, looks so annoyed and pushes the crowd violently. “Get the fuck out of here. Stop swarming us,” he snaps as he walks to the room where they keep the inmates' deposit boxes and chests. The man continues to grumble in rage, looking so impatient while putting on a set of leather clothes and a pair of magical-type of elf's skin boots. ******************** [Alert!] [You don’t meet sufficient conditions to wear this type of magical item. She is so afraid, doubting whether she is able to land safely after jumping that high. But Azzim is being occupied with all the wolves by himself. Only Toto alone, who is now on a tree branch, reacts to Hannah’s call.“It’s okay. If you are able to jump that high, it also means that you are able to land safely from that position.“Are you crazy? This is too much!”“Just make sure you land properly without twisting your ankle!”As Toto’s attention is averted by Hannah, that mysterious inmate attacks him in stealth. When Toto notices the incoming attack, that inmate’s wooden staff is already so close in front of his face.“Dush!”That one hit manages to send Toto to the ground. But then, one arrow appears toward that mysterious inmate. It’s just a normal arrow, since Hannah releases the shot without any preparation while she is still in mid air. That mysterious inmate manages to evade that arrow, but he can’t follow his previous attack to kill Toto. And so, Toto gets the chance to regro
She approaches Hannah and tells her what she just learned from that pair of unique boots. She looks at Hannah’s holographic text to see her current level and finds the problem with her situation. “Now this is a problem. It’s an active skill. You might need access to Skill Set Command so that you can learn and use this skill efficiently. But I believe you’ve skipped the option for that access, right?” says Leia. “I don’t think she really needs it. Just look at Toto,” Azzim interrupts. The three of them look at Toto, and Toto just puts on his clueless face, not knowing what they are talking about. Leia changes her mind a bit regarding the importance of accessing the Skill Set Command. She then takes off the boots and gives them back to Hannah. “You’d still need some time to adapt with the change. Even without using the skill, the item itself gives you an increase for agility and endurance to your leg for a long journey,” says Leia to Hannah. “Are you telling me that it’s okay to tak
However, unlike Dino, Hannah steps in as if she intends to volunteer herself. “Please, take me with you! You should already know that my observation skills are the best among our group.” “I acknowledge your observation skill,” Azzim affirms. “But I'm afraid you are going to slow us down. Despite being an agility-type warrior, the current you can't keep up with my pace and Toto.” It makes Hannah look so disappointed. She can't deny what Azzim just said. She thinks that the only way for her to progress is to push herself to do something more than she currently can do. And staying together with her mentor, who is one of the veterans, should be the best option for her. She has felt it herself, how much she has grown so far. “If I really have the talent to be an agility-type warrior, shouldn’t it be reasonable that I can adapt to your pace given time?” she asks. “I know it the most, how important it is for us to gain actual experience on the field. But look at the situation first. I’m
Those Kelinians have observed how Azzim and his friends fought against the army of the wolves. They acknowledge those inmates’ abilities. But still, they are winning in number. There are more than 30 melee warriors there, and exatcly 13 archers. But Azzim and Leia are still looking so calm with their situation. Only Toto alone who is looking so worried at the moment. He had witnessed Azzim’s madness when he cleared the sartyr guards in the prison before. Not to mention about Dino and Hannah’s combination attack which has the potential to wipe the entire legion.“You guys, hold yourself. We are not in a situation to create another enemies more than what we already have,” says Toto.“No way! There must be something between them and the one who controled the wolves,” says one of the Kelinians warrior.“We shouldn't have let them enter our village,” says the other.“If only Toto didn't bring them here, we won't...”“For sure you won't be able to survive this night,” Granny Oja suddenly in
Hannah is so shocked, not expecting such a huge firewall to appear. She doesn’t believe such a huge fire comes from Dino’s flame.“Wo, what the hell is that? What’s happening there?” asks Hannah cluelessly.“They must have filled the trench with some oils,” Azzim speculates.“Not at all. There’s no way we would waste that much oil only to create such a scene,” says one of the guards.“We only put dry straw and wood, with so many dry Blaconut shells at the bottom,” explains the other guard.“Blaconut shell?” asks Hannah curiously.“It is a type of coconut, but this one has a shell that contains a lot of gas, much more gas than normal coconut shells.”And indeed, that firewall really looks so weird. The fire is suddenly seen gushing out here and there due to the gusts of strong gas emerging from the burning Blaconut shells at the bottom of the trench.Despite how high the firewall is, those crazy wolves are still so eager trying to cross the trench. Even those who manage to cross it, ar
Right after they receive that news, those inmates rush to the village gate. Hannah becomes the first one to reach the gate, and immediately climbs the gate to join the other guard on the top. She observes all the wolves around the graveyard and at the edge of the savanna. She is so shocked, not only by the huge numbers of the wolves, but also by the strange person among the wolves. There’s one mysterious figure in a goat head mask wearing a dark ragged cloak who seems to be the only human being standing among those wolves. What’s more, Hannah sees a holographic letter above that mysterious figure’s head, citing The Loser No 37. “Don’t tell me?” she mumbles with an awry face. She swiftly snatches out one arrow from one of the guards who stands beside her, and immediately takes aim toward that mysterious figure. Her reckless action makes that guard startled. Suddenly, that guard tries to grab Hannah’s arrow, seeming to try to prevent her from starting a war without the leader’s comm
Granny Oja leaves the room toward the door where Toto is waiting outside.“Please, prepare our guests the best meal we have,” says Granny Oja.“Yes, Mam!” replies Toto.Granny Oja backs to her fireplace and sits there. She also offers them to have a seat in front of that fireplace, while she serves them tea. “To tell you the truth, this country is in trouble. I'm not saying this to ask for your understanding because of the guard's rude attitude. I’m telling you because I need your help.”“What kind of help?” asks Azzim.“Well, it’s a bit difficult to explain. I don’t know who you are, but the problem is beyond our capabilities to handle, to the point we seek help from something beyond our understanding. That is the solution given to me by that voice, a voice that I don’t even know who or what he is?”“But he indeed introduced himself as Bang Sat, right?” asks Leia.Lady Oja takes a deep breath once before giving her an explanation.“I’ve been telling fortune to people, but this is th
There are fields of carrots and cabbages surrounding each house. However, all those vegetables looked wilted. Even most of the plants already look dead from not getting enough sunlight. And there is one huge house at the end of the village under towering rocky hills. The house looks so much different than the other house. It almost looks like a temple, being illuminated by several yellow glowing crystals around its circular roof. Those crystals emit fluorescent light of moderate intensity, seeming to be the only source of light at the moment during the day when the sun is still covered by the eclipse. “Please, wait here for a moment! I’ll go inside to make a report to Granny Oja first,” says Toto to Azzim. Toto leaves Azzim and the others, going inside Granny Oja’s sanctuary. After waiting for a while, Toto comes out to invite Azzim and the others to enter. &nb
After they walk down the hill and get out of the forest, they are now walking down the road in a wide savanna with towering grasses, up to their waists. Some even reach their chest. For a moment, Toto stops and his left ear twitches a few times, as if he hears something. Toto silently looks around him. This invites Azzim's curiosity.“What is it?” asks Azzim.“I don't know. It's just a hunch,” replies Toto. “We'd better speed up our movement. We almost reached Wortelville.”After saying that, Toto starts to increase his speed, even though he doesn't appear to be running, Didi, Nery and Catty have trouble following him. They have no choice but to run so that they can follow Toto.Sometimes, Toto jumps quite high and looks around while he is in the air. And there, he sees some movement of some beasts, stalking them u
