Chapter 10 : Revelation Aftermath

After retelling his encounter with the the strange ball of light, Brandon was able to find answers to some questions he had of his past, but these answers also brought up more questions,

"If what the ball of light said was true, that means the demons will probably have spies in the school who will no doubt have informed their leader about you" Miss Silver surmised,

"Oh, I haven't even thought about that, but I don't think there's anyway I can hide if I don't know who i am hiding from" Brandon replied,

"I doubt they will try anything here, they will do probably be waiting for your first expedition which Will take place soon" Miss Silver said,

"Okay, so that means we still have time to prepare" Bruce stated,

"Yes, but we won't start today, it's obvious, he's still shaken up" Miss Silver replied looking towards Brandon,

"Thanks for understanding Miss" Brandon said with a bow,

"Miss, what ever happened to ma'am?" Miss Silver murmured with a light chuckle,

"Well, then i guess we had better get to the cafeteria" Bruce suggested,

"Of course, make sure you eat well, the first elements class always takes a lot out of students" Miss Silver replied bading them off.

The boys walked quietly to the cafeteria, as they walked Bruce couldn't help but worry, he wasn't sure what he could say to cheer his friend up, then he suddenly remembered something,

"Meet me at the gym in five minutes and don't you dare be late, i will grab us some food" Bruce said before running off,

Brandon looked at his disappearing figure with a confused expression, but he made his way to the gym regardless, he walked into the empty gym Wondering what Bruce had planned,

"What if he's scared of me now? Maybe he went to report me" Brandon couldn't help but wonder,

"No, Bruce would never do something like that" Brandon assured himself,

Meanwhile, Bruce had just finished grabbing some food for he and Brandon when he was approached by Elvis and three other students, it only took a glance for Bruce to know they were nobles too, they were all wearing their family crest on their uniforms.

------------------One Hour ago-----------------

Turns out after the little incident at weapons class, Elvis decided to seek the help of other nobles to help him get his revenge on Brandon, at first they refused saying, they didn't want anything to do with any low class students,

"It's seems you don't understand, this isn't just about revenge, it's about proving to both he and the other students not to mess with us, he even turned Alec and Isabella against me not only that but he also insulted our families and when i confronted him in the hallway, he blind sighted me" Elvis lied,

"He did what? How dare he insult our families?" Brutus Ashira raged,

"I still don't believe you, you might as well be making all this up just to get us on your side, i will have no part in this" Elena Dareiene replied,

"Am with Elena on this, if he truely said something like that, there would surely be rumors spreading around and i would be sure to pick on it" Maley Rodriguez stated, his sound ability also gave him enhanced hearing,

"I couldn't care less whether it were true or not, i have been itching for a fight" Juliana Lucas gigled with an evil smile,

"Seriously Jully, i shouldn't be surprised, we all know you have a screw loose, am with Elena " Xena Renato said,

They all looked to Dominik Pavla who was yet to take a side,

"Sorry, Elvis, you only ever gotten me in trouble" Dominik said Taking his stand beside Elena,

"Fine, but mark my words, you will all come to regret this" Elvis scoffed before walking away with Brutus and Juliana.

-------------Present Moment------------------

"What can i help you guys with?" Bruce asked politely,

"Nothing, we would just like to know where your friend is, you two are usually never far from each other" Brutus grinned cracking his knuckles,

"Why would you want to know besides, Brandon doesn't have time to talk to you guys" Bruce replied before attempting to walk past them only to be blocked by Juliana,

"Can you excuse me please?" Bruce asked bluntly,

"Your mood's unusually sour today, did someone already take care of your friend for us, i was really looking forward to beating him up" Juliana chuckled,

This angered Bruce who had been trying his best to be polite to them, the calm expression on his face got replaced by a serious glare,his grip on the food trays in his hands tightened, the lights in the cafeteria started blinking and sparking, looking in his eyes they could see a flash of lightening,

Elvis and his friends took a step back at the sight,the display also caught the attention of the other students, most of the students, unaware of the cause and assumed ot was an electrical problem but a few observant ones noticed the confrontation taking place and were able to connect the dots.

Alec and the rest had seen Bruce from the moment he walked into the cafeteria till the current scenario, Alec was about to get up to help bruce out but noticed Isabella was already at the scene,

"When did she leave?" Alec asked surprised qnd he wasn't the onlt one, the others also had no idea when Isabella stood up right beside them,

"Hey, Bruce calm down, it's me Isabella, you need to calm down, using this much spiritual energy isn't good for especially since you just started learning how to use your ability" Isabella said calmly as she slowly placed herself between him and Elvis' gang,

She looked him in the eye, she could see that whatever they said to him made him really angry,

"Think about your friend, am sure he wouldn't want you getting yourself in trouble, so calm down for his sake" she added,

This seemed to work as the blinking and sparking subsided,he took a few deep breaths to calm himself futher,

"Good, you're probably feeling weak, wait here i will get you something to help get some of your energy back" Isabella added,

Bruce noticed he indeed felt really tired, he had used a lot of energy earlier, he looked to where Elvis and his friends were standing to find no one there, they seemed to have retreated when Isabella stepped in,

"Here now get going" Isabella said placing a large size bottle with a label 'Blitz X' written on it, she then left back to her seat before Bruce could even reply, not wanting to get in anymore trouble he briskly left the cafeteria.

"That was rather nice of you Izzy" Natalie said,

"Don't think too much of it, I was just looking out for my brother's friend" Isabella said bluntly,

"Brother's friends huh? Are you sure he isn't more than a friend?" Natalie teased poking her,

"Yeah, what are you saying?" Isabella retorted with flushed cheeks,

"Come on Natalie let her eat her food in peace" Angelo chirped in,

"Okay, okay" Natalie said in surrender,

Isabella put on a small smile as she watched Bruce exit the cafeteria.

"Bruce walked quickly towards the gym, he had spent more time than needed at he cafeteria, Brandon would be worried for sure, he was approaching the last corner before the gym when he almost bumped into someone, it was Brandon.

"Bruce, what took so long?" Brandon asked,

"Sorry, got held up on the line, let's head back" Bruce replied with a smile,

They went back to the gym and had their lunch on a workout bench, Bruce filled Brandon in on what happened at the cafeteria and even shared the energy drink with him,

"Great, more trouble, am sorry, i should have been more careful with Elvis" Brandon apologized,

"Don't be, it couldn't be helped, he would have come after me eventually, his main objective seems to be to get close Alec and we might seem like competition to him" Bruce replied,

"Maybe, so about what happened with Isabella" Brandon said with a teasing smile,

"What about it? Don't give that look, she was probably just standing up for me because I'm her brother's friend" Bruce replied,

"Brother's friend indeed" Brandon chuckled,

"What exactly are you insinuating?" Bruce asked,

"Nothing, absolutely nothing " Brandon replied still smiling,

"Just finish your food" Bruce nagged,

They had finished their lunch and relaxed for five minutes when Bruce pulled Brandon up on his feet, to an empty space on the gym,

"Come at me" Bruce said,

"What?" Brandon asked confused,

"I said come at me" Bruce repeated slowly,

"Okay" Brandon said as he threw a punch at Bruce but soon found himself on the floor,

"Ouch" Brandon said,

"Remember how you used to help clear my mind back on elementary school?" Bruce asked,

"You mean how I flipped you till you couldn't think about anything else" Brandon chuckled,

"Says the guy on the ground, you have obviously been slacking off" Bruce said,

"Oh is that so, well, you asked for it" Brandon said getting back on his feet,

He took a fighting stance opposite Bruce,

"Well then let's see how much you have improved" he chuckled.

Both boys charged at each other smiling and laughing as they exchanging blows, flipping each other, bruce even managed to pin Brandon down once.

A figure stood at the door watching them with a smile on her face,

"As long as you have each other, am sure you will be fine" she said before silently leaving.

Meanwhile back at class, the bell had just rung for the final class if the day but Bruce and Brandon were nowhere to be found, this bit made Alec worried, he looked over at Elvis who seemed to be conspiring with some other nobles at his seat, He recalled what happened between them and Bruce at the cafeteria,

"Did they do something else to Brandon and Bruce?" He wondered,

Knowing that he couldn't answer the question himself, he stood up to go confront Elvis but, before he got to Elvis' seat, he heard his name being called,

"Alexander Benjamin Moore" called Miss Silver from the door,

"Here ma'am" Alec promptly replied,

"Come with me" she said before walking away,

Alec took one more glance at Elvis and co who were now staring at him before going after miss Silver,

"You shouldn't openly confront people on such matters" Miss Silver said the moment Alec caught up with her,

"What do you mean miss?" Alec asked confused,

"You were just about to confront Elvis about your friends, am I right?" Miss Silver said,

"Oh, but how did you know?" Alec asked even more surprised,

"Unlike most teachers here, I actually don't support the stupid no intervention in students scuffles rule, I have taken it upon myself to protect those that I can or more correctly, those that fight back against bullys like Elvis" She calmly explained,

"So you know about the incident at the cafeteria?" Alec asked,

Miss Silver stopped in her tracks,

"What incident?" She asked with stern tone causing Alec to flinch,

"Well, Bruce came into the cafeteria to get some food but, on his way out he was confronted by Elvis and his friends, I don't know what they said to him but it made him really mad, the lights stated to flicker and spark, if it weren't for Isabella's timely intervention, I don't know what would have happened" Alec explained,

"I see, thanks for the info and your friends are alright, they should be at the gym, you should go catch up with them" Miss Silver said before walking away,

Alec turned around to head for the gym and on his way he almost bumped into Juliana but was able to quickly side step around her,

"Sorry, didn't mean to startle you" Alec apologized,

"Oh it's no worry, big guy, personally I don't mind been danced around" Juliana replied with a flirtatious gaze,

"Okay then, I should d probably get going" Alec chuckled nervously before turning to leave but Juliana grabbed his wrist,

"Wait, do you have plans today, if you don't, maybe we could hang out" Juliana said,

"I'm training with Maya after school maybe some other time" Alec replied while he pulled his hand out of her grip,

"You know, you shouldn't hang out with the weak ones, it might rub off on you" Juliana said bluntly,

"What's that supposed to mean?" Alec asked,

"It means, you should stop hanging out with those guys, they will only soil your rep" Juliana replied,

"I gotta go Juliana, see you around" Alec said before walking away,

"What a pity" Juliana scoffed,

Alec got to the gym and was surprised to see Natalie and the others there as well,

"Am I the only one who didn't get an invite?" Alec asked,

"If it makes you feel any better, we just happened to find them here by luck, they seem to have passed out from exhaustion" Angelo replied,

Alec looked over their shoulders to find Brandon and Bruce asleep on the ground, covered in sweat,

"Woah, what happened here?" Alec asked,

"It's brotherly love at it's best" Natalie chuckled,

"Quit being dramatic, they obviously skipped class to train" Isabella said,

"Come oo, look at the peaceful smile on their faces" Natalie said,

"Well, let's find out, which theory is correct" Alec report he bent over Brandon and tapped him, lightly,

But the next next thing everyone knew, Alec jumped back like he had seen a monster, they looked at him them back at the now awake Brandon puzzled,

"What happened?" Isabella asked.
