Groaning, I turned my head from side to side on my bed.I just had one of the most craziest dreams. It was 100% crazy. I moaned sleepily as I buried my head deeper in my pillow. My bed caressed me like lover's touch and I sank deeper in it's folds of soft delight.My bed felt different, like it was soft, very soft. Wait!! my bed was never soft! no offence, my bed was old, small, very uncomfortable to sleep on and strong like stale bread. Waking every morning I always had aches all over my body including cricks on the sides of my neck.I woke up with a start, almost falling out of the bed. My head was banging seriously, like I had a hangover. I groaned as a wave of nausea rushed over me, Oh no!!. With my hand on my mouth, I rushed to the bathroom and vomited in the sink. I rinsed my mouth and washed my face staring at myself on the mirror. I saw a bruise on my cheekbone and at the underside of my jaw. I gasped, the dream wasn't just a dream but it all really happened yesterday. Oh my goodness!!! Yellow fog and Snake guy were all real. I can't believe I'm still alive. I burst into tears of relief as I touched my body all round to make sure I wasn't dreaming. God does really answers prayers.
After my break down in the bathroom, I stumbled back into the unknown bedroom. Now that I was fully conscious, I looked around the room. It was big, bigger than my entire studio apartment. It was painted in sensual hues of gold and cream white. The decoration was out of the world, but it had this little touch of ancient history. As if the designer was trying to preserve some kind of ancient culture. I was holding what I guess could be an antique iron Egyptian lamp, walking restlessly around the room and thinking on ways to escape since Yellow fog locked the door. How can I escape? Should I try knocking out anybody that comes through that door?
I shook my head, no that was a stupid idea. My encounter with Yellow fog proved how powerful he was. There must be others like him and if they were, I was toast. Even though I managed to escape now, I don't know where I am. I might even be in a different city or anywhere in the world. If I even left this place, how will I reach the police? Who will believe me, when I tell them about Yellow fog and everything that happened to Snake guy. They would only say I was going crazy and drop in a psychiatric hospital.
"Think Lana, just think about something." I chanted to myself."Gggrrrrrhhh!!!" I groaned as I tugged hard on my hair. Maybe the feeling of pain will allow me to focus better. I walked over to the bed and sat down, an idea struck me.
"Oh my God!! My phone!!! why didn't I think of this earlier." I cursed rapidly at myself as I searched around frantically for my phone. "No!! Not my phone too." I moaned in despair. Of course, he would take it, so I wouldn't call the cops or anyone for that matter. And I wasn't sure anyone would report me missing since I didn't have anybody. I don't have any family since I was an orphan, no friends since I was a loner, nobody at all. It had been a long time since I felt this helpless and lost. I felt angry tears pricking at the corner of my eyes."Fuck!!!! Shit!!!" I yelled as I threw the iron lamp at the wall. I began scattering and destroying everything on my path. How could he make me feel so useless, so stupid. Breathing heavily, I dropped face down on the bed and started sobbing uncontrollably.**********************************************Several Hours LaterThe sound of the door opening alerted me to the presence of two ladies that came into the room. They were dressed in a weird way like ancient Egyptians??? They both gasped at the state of destruction, the room was in. I scoffed angrily. Yeah that's right feel my wrath." What happened here my lady?" One of them asked with an accented voice that sounded Mid - Eastern. I turned away from her in petulance. They both spoke in briefly in another language. "My lady, are you hurt?" The other one asked as she looked at me in concern. Suddenly, an idea came to me. This was the moment I have been waiting for, I just have to strike at the right time. I smiled inwardly. I screwed my face up and started shedding crocodile tears. "Oh my lady, where do you hurt?" They both ran to me and started fussing over me."My lady please tell us what is wrong so that we can help you." I counted in my head and waited for the perfect time.Time to strike, I elbowed them both and launched myself forward with all my strength towards the door. I didn't even care to look what happened to the two ladies. I just ran, now I just have to make it out of this place alive.
