Chapter Ninety-Two

His heart sank and he drew her hand away from Eileen’s own. A drop of tear he fought so hard to take back dropped from his eyes.

“He killed my Mom…” He drawled as he puffed an invisible air.

He sank back into the car seat, placing his head on the headrest and running his hand through his hair, tousling it up. In a split second, his gray eyes turned cold and dark. A devious grimace appeared on his thinned lips. Even Eileen who sat close to him felt a shift in the aura of the car. She felt chill as a restlessness ran through her body and down her spine.

She sort of regretted telling him that she tried to speak again to maybe pacify him.

“The accident wasn't planned for her, he didn't mean to harm his sister no matter how cruel he was but it was just unfortunate…” Her words trailed off as Aidan had already opened the door and stepped down from the car.
