Chapter Thirty-Six

He ended the call as the car pulled up into the Hartford Hospital parking lot. Everyone was wowed by the luxurious fleet of cars that the convoy consisted of. They took glances among themselves in wonderment. Their eyes were glued to the cars ready to see who would come down from them.

A loud gasp was heard as Aidan stepped down from the car as soon as his driver opened the door of the Rolls Royce. He brushed and adjusted his suit before strutting to the hospital lobby.

The doctors and nurses on duty gaped at him in awe as he elegantly and gracefully carried himself to the receptionist's desk.

“Good Day Sir” She greeted him politely, shining all her teeth.

Aidan smirked knowing fully well the reason why she instantly ignored the rest of the patients and attended to him immediately–it was because he exuded wealth and power, a thing everyone wanted a taste of.

“I'm here for Doris”

Hearing him call out the president of the hospital by her first name without any atom of respect killed
