Chapter Thirty-Five

"Acting like a bunch of wild animals!"

They both turned their heads to see Sarah standing at the entrance, fuming hot.

"What is wrong with you both!?" She matched right in. "Do you know where I heard your voices!?" She said as her gaze shifted between the two of them.

Sir Robert sighed dejectedly as he was disappointed Sarah met them raving at each other. He clenched his jaw and swallowed his pride. He tried to touch Aidan but he brushed him off by raising his hand and stepping aside.

His temples pulsed harder at Aidan's refusal to his touch. He cast one last glare at Aidan, hissed, and shoved his way past Sarah brushing her out of the way.

She gazed at him, storming out in disbelief, and sighed, shaking her head before she walked closer to Aidan.

Aidan sank himself into a part of the bed that wasn't filled with his scattered clothes. He rubbed his creased forehead to relieve the throbbing that had started because of the fury he felt.
