Chapter Twenty-Five

"Why was my daughter arrested? On what charges is she here?!!" Exclaimed Madam Doris, the moment she stormed into the police station.

She had been in a meeting with some of her very wealthy clients when her lawyer called to inform her about the arrest of her daughter Mallory.

On getting there, she met Aidan standing with someone else, she rolled her eyes and strode past them straight to the reception desk.

"I demand she be released this instant!" She banged her hand on the desk as she spoke, rattling the whole contents on top of the table.

"Ma'am, I suggest you calm down as that behavior is not tolerated here." The attending policewoman on the desk said to her scowling.

Madam Doris was insulted hearing that. "I can see you just got employed because it's obvious you have no idea who I am."

The police officer looked her up and down and had an irritated expression on her face. She took a piece of paper not caring about her attempts at intimidating her and placed it in front of her.
