Claude took his wife's hand to walk out of the room and down the stairs to have breakfast together. There, Claude treated Olivia a little sweetly to make Olivia's heart feel calm and so that his wife could let go of her thoughts about the car and also her mother.

They were already at the dining table and sat facing each other until they finally enjoyed the breakfast Olivia had prepared.

"Olivia, you cooked it very well." Claude complimented her after she shoveled the food into her mouth.

Olivia's cheeks reddened. Claude would not usually give compliments like that, but Olivia knew that Claude did it deliberately to make her feel comfortable.

Anne's absence at the dining table made them enjoy breakfast very comfortably. Usually, Anne would not let Claude enjoy his meal in peace. They would listen to Anne's voice as long as they finished eating with her. But right now, they were eating alone and feeling very calm.

They had almost finished breakfast, but suddenly, there was a knock
