Eliana stood still as she gazed at the mine. Her heart raced and she tightened her grip on Eden’s arms.Eden was quite surprised as well. Eden was the first to hear the sound. It sounded more like a ruffle, followed by the creaking sound the floor board at the front of the house made.At first, he thought that he was only hallucinating, but when Eliana turned to face him with a face filled with fear, he knew that it was anything other than a hallucination.“Someone is outside”, Eliana said and quickly jerked to her feet. Eden resolved to staying low for the night right until it was morning. He didn’t want them to risk leaving the house at the dead of the night just because of what Emily had said to them. The men returned them back to the house while Eliana couldn’t stop staring at Eden. She seemed to have a lot of questions swirling around her head and the more she tried to understand, the more confused she became.“How are we going to sell the land? You are aware that we have no idea of how to get the documents?” Eliana whispered to Eden who was currently lost in his personal thought.He nodded his head in affirmation after which he took in a deep breath and looked away. The fight between Eden and Vincent began and in a moment, Eden was laying on the ground and at the mercy of Vincent’s gun.Just then, the leader of the group walked into the scene, together with Eliana and some of Eden’s men. This shocked Vincent to the core because he had no idea that Eden had come into the scene with other people.His men tried to fight, but the force that came from the opposition was quite a lot to handle.In the midst of the chaos, Eden made his way into Vincent’s quarters. He had to remember that he had come in, not to fight with Vincent, but to claim the properties.Eliana on the other hand could barely fight. All she had to do was call on the authorities and plead with them to come over and intervene in the situation.Eden was successful with his plan because after several minutes of searching through Vincent’s room, he found the documents in a hidden corner.He picked it up and dashed out of the room.
