As Elaina and Eden take time to recover from the events that have unfolded, they began to reflect on their past and the decisions that led them to this point.

“I feel like every single person who I came across betrayed me”, Eliana said to Eden and Emily who were sitting across her.

Her legs were bandaged since the effect of the injury from the last night was still fresh.

She winced in pain and held on the the leg again, with tears streaming down her eyes.

“Maybe, we shouldn’t have gone through this path of discovering the treaure. Perhaps, it would have saved me the pain my heart feel at the moment”, Eliana said and gulped down hard.

Her eyes flickered in pain and Eden caressed her lovingly. They stayed mute after what seemed like ages and afterwards, Emily stood to her feet.

“I should go check on the mineral mine. I feel like there are things we have to see that we haven’t”, Emily said to Eliana and Eden who looked at her with shock on their faces.
