Loss

"Hey, are you okay?" Elaina said to Eden, when she noticed the look of grief on his face. Eden had been trying to hide his grief for the past thirty minutes, but looking at Vincent and men was making it harder, and he could no longer hide the fact that his heart was broken into so many pieces, pieces that could never be put together again.

"Come on, answer me!" Elaina shook Eden by his shoulders, and took his face into hers. Eden didn't say anything. Well, what could he say? He couldn't just start telling her the whole story at that spot, he was sure that she wouldn't even understand at all. He was the only one that understood everything. "Yes, I'm fine.
